![]() It's high time for our second win in la liga.
But this isn't going to be easy. Numancia is the best from the three recently promoted teams even though in two away games the lost both of them. Recent history at Riazor isn't in our favour as well 1999-2000 Deportivo-Numancia 0-2 2000-2001 Deportivo-Numancia 4-1 2004-2005 Deportivo-Numancia 1-1 |

![]() If we bring the right attitude to this match we shouldn't have a problem sealing the 3 points. We need a positive result mid-week to re-ignite our season.

![]() We need someone to fly to malaga, grab adrian, stick a mask on him and put him in mista's shirt, and then send him out on the pitch.
then we'll win. |

![]() As Dephun said a must win.
We have to beat teams like Numancia at home to have any chance of finishing reasonably high up the league.

![]() A win is vital for our current aspirations to become 'The Best of the Rest'.
Almeria has 10 points and Getafe are at 8 points. Deportivo have 5 points but still Mallorca, Espanyol, Valladolid and Bilbao higher in the table. I don’t see Espanyol, Valladolid and Bilbao winning while Almeria and Getafe play against each other. It could become a great day for us... |

![]() Also, because of the WC-qualifiers next week, there's a two-week break again in La Liga. It would be nice if the team can go into these two weeks without football a bit relaxed with three points in the bag.

![]() Since Guardado didn't play the first half and Riki got the red, I expect both to play. My predicted lineup:
-------------Aranzubia Laure-----Ze Castro--Lopo-----Filipe ---------De Guzman--Juan Rodriguez P Alvarez-------Verdu---------Guardado ------------------Riki If Guardado were to be rested, then Cristian would play. Last edited by Carril : 03-10-2008 at 18:45. |

![]() No need to rest anybody as the national teams play, but obviously, we don't know with Lotina. Valeron did look tired against Brann, so Verdú, who did fine, could very well start. Here's hoping for Lafita and Guardado on the wings and return of De Guzman.

Edit: I thought De Guzman was suspended for this game, but it was actually for the Valencia game, so he'll definitely start too. |

![]() Second of all, he'll get two days to get the energy back. Of course he's gonna at least have the energy to play like 60 minutes, and he's a part of our best possible starting eleven. Therefore I don't see no need to rest anybody. I'm sure Lotina does, and although I think it's wrong, I can't see the players every day like him, so in the end hard to argue about things like these. But still, I don't see anybody needed to be rested. |
