Default La Liga | Deportivo 0v3 Sporting Gijon | Post Match Comments | 26-10-2008

I can't really bring myself to say too much about this game. We lost at home to a side that has been leaking goals this season. Against our toothless attack though, they managed a clean sheet.

We lost 2 goals and 1 man in the 1st half and the 2nd half didn't get much better either. We hadmore posession but posession is useless if you can't do anything with it and you're constantly playing against teams who can be far more clinical with their posession.

Extremely dissapointing!!!

Shame! Our tactics is based on pure luck. Great!

And again... 5-2-2-1 please!

I don't get it, how could we be so innefective!!!
Football is about little details and if CSKA, or Valencia were clearly superior sides, Sporting isn't, but a few details determined the game!

Guardado lost a so clear chance and after that we suffered the first goal!
Lafita, Mista lost so clear chances to give us hopes (though the Mista dissalowed goal is under question), after that we suffered the third goal!
We weren't good today, but with exact that performance we could have won this!

I don't think we're so bad as the 0-3 implies, but we have a real problem!!

This is why I didn't wanted to loose some of our best players of last season; well, you see now :|

And I agree, 5-2-2-1 please! I don't understand why changing a winer system? It wasn't evn broken yet!

Very worrying how horrible we are in front of goal and how big mistakes the defense can make. Here at Riazor, we have the ball most and got lots of chances, yet we lose 3-0.

What's gonna happen when we visit Camp Nou - or even Ruiz de Lopera next week, when we won't have the ball much?
Surely in Barca's case, 5 goals like with Almeria, Atletico and Basel will be even more against us at this rate.

Something needs to be changed drastically. Cause if we can't score the points at Riazor, all the talk is gonna be about salvation.

Haha, well that's a statement you can't go wrong with Nobody wants to see the best players leave, and everyone knows it would probably give a negative effect.

Willy and xisco shouldnt have been let go!
Now we need to go back to that 5-2-2-1 formation!

coach: either try your luck again with 5 defenders, or f off

players:
guzman is terribly out of form for a while
riki, has he ever made more than 1 goal in a game? He's the guy who's supposed to play the last 25 minutes, not start
filipe, your my favorite but you cannot keep depor alive on your own either, and it's beginning to weight on you, i can see that
guardado, i never praised you so much as the other here do, but i at least respected you. But please make me see why i do so. You left your bag with ideas somewhere far away and you cannot find it any more.
All strikers: get a job
lopo: still have the advantage of the doubt; we know that you can do better, just like guzman.
collotto: it's too early to put a label on you, but do yourself a favor and score twice again next game.
valeron: no bad words for you after all you've been through; if the coach thinks you should play, why not uh? But yeah you certainly have noticed that those new guys are not of the same quality of those who you used to play with... No one is running and creating an opening at all, it must be frustrating for you to play!

de 'poor' tivo

guardado = poor, missed a great chance just before they score the first goal, poor crossing all night

Albert lo'poor' = poor generally, was stretching for that cross so possible cant blame him eventho he should never miss there

aranzubia = good besides that poor first goal. what are u doing standing there...u should be following up incase lopoor misses the cross, which he did

valeron= poor. invisible

entire front line = poor

wing backs = forced to stay at home after colotto was sent off

colotto = not so poor. its clear he can win headers when he goes for corners.. a bit harsh with the red i think. he's very slow tho, good grief.

Lotina = three options....1. go back to 5 in the back.....2. try 2 strikers before u go back to 5 in the back.....or option 3. resign!!!!!

Your post consisted of 2 photographs and had nothing to do with the game just played.

Considering your form Luis, you might want to consider not antaganising any mods

Besides, Forum Rules pull rank on Freedom of speech.(you dont even need to google that) Don't like it?? I won't try and stop you from hitting the cross in the top right hand corner.

The problem is not entirely the formation. There is only ONE problem, and that is Lotina.

Lotina, go home and try to grow some hair for God's sake.

awww come on Rik, it had everything to do with the game since it's all Lotina's fault

and what's this about my form? ^____^;; pls pm me to explain since I'm sure I haven't pissed off anyone before, unless I did somehthing without meaning it xD
