In Guardado and Lafita we have two truly great players!
So fast and deadly on the counters in the 2nd half, could hardly recognize my Depor!

But dammit what a great game!

Guardado IMO man of the match today, working harder than anyone, and the main creative force. Lafita should be a striker with that finishing ability, and Aranzubia saved us numerous times during the game, giving once again a solid performance! Defense was also solid, Ze Castro's sliding tackle in the middle of the game was top class!!

Only player that didn't really do great today was Sergio - how many awful passes and slow turns were there?! - but he did save us at a vital time.

So happy right now! 5 pts. from relegation! - and actually only 1 pt. from Europe.

Very nice performance from our lads! Everyone has been brilliant apart from Sergio. The counter attacks have been vry effective, especially after the entrance of Valeron. We should have been more dangerous in upfront if Riki was still playing. It was hard to identify Bodipo's positon on the pitch. Aranzubia was solid as always. Guardado and Lafita destroyed their defence.

Forza Depor!!!

Excellent week to be a depor-fan. And I think we needed it as well. (poor Gregory )

First half hour was pretty even, perhaps with a very slight advantage to Betis, but in the last 15min of the first half I really feared we were going to get behind. Luckily we held on, and looked a bit better in the start of the second half. After we scored the first goal, we just kept looking better, propably because Betis collapsed more and more.

Nothing to say about Lafita's first goal, except that we have to do EVERYTHING in order to keep him. Not only based on this action, but on his general performance the last 9 months or so, he's a top-class player, and if I had to value him right now, I'd say he'd be worth 8-10mill...

And by the way, I just noticed that none other than Valeron gave the pass to the last goal. Nice...

Crap game - fantastic result. Really, the passing and the general ball control was atrocious today (excluding Guardado, a class of his own out there), the midfield was way to stressed without De Guzman, Juan Rodriguez once again proving his ineptitude at all things football-like, Verdu and Sergio having decent games and Lafita showing glimpses of brilliance (2-0!!!!!) and glimpses of nothing (the identical situation three minutes later). Central defence was good as long as they didn't need to touch the ball twice in a row, Filipe and MP okay but a long way from the blessed spring, Aranzubia was himself, as usual.

We've got big problems all around, we have some good players and some bad players, we have a coach who still struggles to establish an agenda for the team, and we have, luckily, a leage boosted with teams in similar predicaments.

We'll be okay.

This is our Depor! They can lose at home against Gijon and next week win against Betis at Manuel Ruiz de Lopera. Incredible!
Surprisingly it was an interesting game with many shots on goal. After Riki scored the first goal and after a red card for Garcia we had a lot empty spaces to attack. Betis pushed to score the equalizer but our counters were lethal. Men of the match: Lafita, Guardado and Aranzubia.
BTW, Lafita has more scoring skills than all our strikers together.

We've just won 3-0. Ok the play sometimes wasn't good, but overall we looked pretty comfortable and we scored 3 goals
Lafita,Guardado and riki looked quite good, Im still not happy about Verdu but maybe he'll get better?

It seems like Guardado is playing great, but has he been playing well lately?

Hey, I'm cheerful, make no mistake about it. We weren't good, at all, but on the other hand - we scored thrice, and we won.

This goes to everyone, I am happy, really.
