Default Copa | Deportivo vs Elche | 12.11.2008 | 21:00 | Pre-match comments

Second-leg in the round of 16. We have a 2-0 advantage.
Time for the substitutes? time to see somebody from Fabril at the first squad?

"substitues + Fabril players" is the best way, i think

If Fabril players participate in this match, who will play for the match?

Lassad should be the first candidate. but Omar Bravo and Bodipo should get a chance too. Maybe central defender Juanan.

Carril? Never. He was sidelined by Ramallo during the last 3 weeks because he was horrible at the start of the season. I’m afraid we won’t see him anymore at the 1st squad. Anybody else from Depor B? I doubt it. I think that only Lassad and Juanan have a chance, but I won’t be surprised if Lotina doesn’t call anybody from Fabril.

i dont think he'll call; but Omar should play the whole game!
And Rochela, give him some decent experience! he's not THAT young anymore.

I'm hoping for a lineup like this:
Fabri
Laure-Ze Castro/Colotto(the one that will be saved next)-Juanan-Piscu
Tomas-Rochela
Alvarez-Cristian
Bravo-Mista/Bodipo

Probably too much to hope for, and I think it'll be like last game, with no Fabril players, and probably just one striker, but it could be nice to see these things IMO, and have the opportunity to rest some of our starters.

I'd love to see Bravo with another striker in front of him. We keep hearing how that's his prefered position (2nd striker). He DOES work hard, but I'd really like to see him producing for once.

I would use that young striker from Fabril (or Deportivo C?) that was bought from Real Madrid. What was his name?

Lotina will release the list for the game until tomorrow after the last training, strange isn't?

What's clear is that this men won't play since they have a free day: Manuel Pablo, Ze Castro, Juan Rodríguez, Guardado, Lafita and Riki.

Also, in a press conference, Lotina tried to explain why he hasn't called Fabril players on this season, as far as I understood, he won't call them for this game neither. So the lineup will be made with the remaining players at the squad.
