Default La Liga | Deportivo Vs Malaga | 07.12.2008 | 17:00 | Pre-match comments

Malaga has never won in La Coruña:
1999-2000 => DEPOR 4 - MALAGA CF 1
2000-2001 => DEPOR 4 - MALAGA CF 0
2001-2002 => DEPOR 2 - MALAGA CF 2
2002-2003 => DEPOR 1 - MALAGA CF 0
2003-2004 => DEPOR 1 - MALAGA CF 0
2004-2005 => DEPOR 1 - MALAGA CF 0
2005-2006 => DEPOR 2 - MALAGA CF 1

I must say I don't like this game. It's exaclty like the game Vs Sporting. We faced Sporting just 3 days after the the trip to Russia and they came to claim their first win in La Coruña.

Now we face Malaga just 3 days after the game in Poland and they are quite dangerous as they usually score a lot of goals, no matter that Adrian is ineligible to play.

Can we win this one?

Well, no doubt that Malaga is very strong. Eli, Baha, Duda and the likes are going to give us problems.

But IF we win here, it'll be such an important three points.

Hard to say what to expect. Of course here's hoping for the three points, but depending on how the game develops, a draw maybe won't be that bad considering we might've played a tough Poznan-game three games before.

I believe our good score in Poznań will have a great influence on Sunday's form. We're definitely favorites for this game and if we want to remain "the best of the rest" or even jump higher we need to win games like this one. Malaga is strong but so far only Sporting was superior to us at Riazor in 11 home games this season and I think it shouldn't be changed on Sunday.

Draw won't be a drama, but considering our next visit is tough rival Valladolid 3 points at home now are more than welcome

Come on, you've got to be kidding me. If that was a good score, then every game in the past three years were full of great results for us then

I have a bad feeling about this game. The players had a long trip that didn't bring a good result either. If I'd put money on this game, I'd put it all on Malaga.

Nevertheless, I hope Depor proves me wrong of course.

I also have a bad feelings about this game because Malaga won't be an easy rival. I want a win, if not a win then a draw would be just fine having in our mind that the players had a long trip and they might still tired from it.

I want to see Lotina uses this lineup

M.p- lopo- Ze Castro- Filipe
Lafita- Rodri- Sergio- Gaurdado
Verdu
Omar Bravo

In the second half
replace sergio with de guzman cause Sergio played the whole game in Poland. Also at the end of the game replace Omar with either Riki or Mista.

Well, that's very good news. I assume it'll be with plenty of streams then, not just the usual Justin.tv.

Called players: Aranzubia, Fabricio, Manuel Pablo, Laure, Zé Castro, Colotto, Lopo, Filipe, Adrián López, De Guzmán, Sergio, Juan Rodríguez, Lafita, Guardado, Cristian, Verdú, Valerón, Mista, Omar Bravo and Riki.

Lineup: http://www.deportivo-la-coruna.com/d....php?match=110

I don't undertand why Lotina insists with Mista
