The scoreline makes it look like we were played off the park but we were not that bad and if it wasn't for the fact that they scored 3 brilliant goals, it could have easily been a whole lot different.
But goals win you games and they showed great quality with all 3 so I guees you could say they were deserving winners.

It's not like in every defeat someone has to be blamed, though in most cases it's like this.
Well, for me this is the first defeat in the season that we weren't awful, actually we're not bad at all.

But they were superior to us and scored 3 magnificent goals, so it was a deserved win for them.

I don't remember the last time that a defeat seemed so harmless

Frustrating lose I must say. But that's what happens, we won't be winning all the time. Let's forget about this game and focus on our last two home games of the year - Nancy and Recreativo that will have a big influence on our Christmas moods

Nothing to be ashamed of, but 3-0 is an ugly scoreline. Frustrating must be the headline.

Reviewing the goals, it's good work offensively on all the goals by Valladolid, but none can be blamed at the finish really.
At the first goal, Pedro Leon is given too much space on the right side, and the result was a goal.
Second goal, it's magnificent play by Lopez, shooting a one out of a million shot.
Third goal, Leon once again shows his class with the run, while his shot deflects.

Our problem, lied in the awful sharpness up in front. Last pass(es) just weren't good enough, and it didn't help to have Mista up in front really. Both Verdú, Lafita, his replacement Cristian, Mista and Bravo all failed miserably IMO - or well, anonymous is also a word that can be used - leaving it all to a Guardado who tried but simply couldn't.
Good news were Riki making a big impact. He seems quite sharp.

Now, it's all about the Nancy-game. The importance of the game is up there along with the Brann-game.

Applauses to Valladolid for these fantastic goals. Unlike us, they were dangerous almost every time they entered our half. We were the opposite. Perhaps we were in possession, but they were definitely in control. Constantly.

This is a brilliant game to illustrate our "problems" (yes, we do have a few problems even though our position in the table is very pleasant.). It is also a brilliant game for Lotina to analyze and correct some things.

To me, this game was very interesting from these points of views, and I will (probably) come back to this later, when I have time to write my reflections down.

If Lotina continues with using Mista (at least in this formation) I'll personally go to Coruna and punch him.

As far as I remember, Del Bosque did attend it. And well, Lopo did well. Maybe he looked at Pedro Leon as well.

This brings us back down to earth with a bump!
They wanted it more than us in defence and attack. They robbed balls off us and scored some nice goals.
Outcomes: I make these comments about the team in general, and not only because of todays result. Juanro and De Guzman together in central midfield limits us too much creatively. Also, if Lotina has not realised by now.. Mista is not good enough to be starting games in la liga. Omar Bravo and Riki should be picked before Mista. Its so frustrating watching him.. he's like Tristan was at his worst!

I think for Philip it would be a real joy so that he wouldn't regret spending money on flights

I didn't know you hate Lotina so much, Philip. You should have just let me know about your plans and I would have punched him for you. In Novotel there were no security around and I think Croc would have helped me too

Yea pretty frustrating...anyway we need to move on from this...and the 2 games we have coming up before Xmas gives us a good chance to correct it.

And I know it's been said 50 times already but Mista should piss off. Also when Lotina changed the system to 2 upfront Bravo was still invisible...atleast Riki was class.

I reckon Valeron would have been useful today coming of the bench to give the team a new reference...just cause we really had no answer after Guardado/Lafita got closed down...

I'm afraid most team now(atleast the ones below 7th spot) are gonna try and do the same thing...Lotina needs a 'plan B'
