Default LIGA 08/09 | Deportivo 0 - Osasuna 0 | 14.02.2009 | 20:00 | post-match

Two points fly away from Riazor
We could have won this one, what I don't undertand is why Lotina only made one change having a tired squad during the last 20 minutes

Anyway 0-0, second home draw on the season.

Exactly Carlos. Lotina is always yacking on about his rotations, but now that we have midweek football coming up, and seeing how we CLEARLY needed an offensive substition in the second half, he choses to only make one sub. One that killed off our last hope of actually scoring a friggin' goal in this game. What the hell was he thinking today???

I have nothing against Mista coming on, but taking Lassad off was plain ignorant. Why did we need four defenders and two defensive mids against a team that did absolutely nothing anymore in the second half.

Lotina is the first to blame.
1) He made only one substitution and it was a bad one. Lassad is better than Mista
2) He keeps insisting on playing with 1 striker.

I don't blame Lotina, for the only one change (dissapoinitng change).

Lassad had probably to get out, because he's not fit enough for 90min, while Mista was the only sub that could have add sth. Who was on the bench that shoud have got in?

We didn't play bad...but it is a bad result. We had many chances and they had nothing much in attack.

Dont think it was a bad result. Osasuna really defended well as they have done for a while. We lacked a bit creativity.
Valencia next in the league. (Malaga just hit the post after 1 minute)

After Mista was in Depor played with high crosses and Mista didn't won any of them. Lassad would be better in this situations. Mista+Lassad would be even better!

PS: I would sub Verdu for Mista

Lassad was actually playing better and better until he came off. Bravo and Mista/Lassad together, was what he should've done. Also a bit strange they all had to play the full 90 minutes, with the Aalborg game coming up.

2/6 against relegation candidates, that's just too little for a team that wants to go to Europe.
