Default LIGA | Deportivo - Zaragoza | 01-05-10 | Pre Match Comments

Well, here we go again If we don't win it will be the worst mark in the history of the club: 10 straight games without a win. Incredible, taking in mind how we started the season and that this club has suffered several relegations in the past.

We are full of casualties, but also Zaragoza is screwed. Matteo Contini and Eliseu are suspended, Arizmendi is injured and the best part is that 'Chupete' Suazo got injured against Real Madrid and could miss the rest of the season. Lafita was injured, but could be back for this game.

Also to remember that this is the day of the peñas, let's hope the players will show some dignity

The last games at the Riazor:
2007-08 DEPORTIVO 1 - 1 REAL ZARAGOZA
2006-07 DEPORTIVO 3 - 2 REAL ZARAGOZA
2005-06 DEPORTIVO 1 - 1 REAL ZARAGOZA
2004-05 DEPORTIVO 2 - 3 REAL ZARAGOZA
2003-04 DEPORTIVO 4 - 1 REAL ZARAGOZA
2001-02 DEPORTIVO 1 - 0 REAL ZARAGOZA
2000-01 DEPORTIVO 2 - 0 REAL ZARAGOZA

1999-00 DEPORTIVO 2 - 2 REAL ZARAGOZA
1998-99 DEPORTIVO 2 - 1 REAL ZARAGOZA
1997-98 DEPORTIVO 2 - 1 REAL ZARAGOZA
1996-97 DEPORTIVO 1 - 0 REAL ZARAGOZA

1995-96 DEPORTIVO 2 - 3 REAL ZARAGOZA
1994-95 DEPORTIVO 3 - 3 REAL ZARAGOZA
1993-94 DEPORTIVO 1 - 1 REAL ZARAGOZA
1992-93 DEPORTIVO 1 - 0 REAL ZARAGOZA
1991-92 DEPORTIVO 3 - 0 REAL ZARAGOZA

It's already the end of the season for Depor IMO, so points don't count anymore, but it would be nice to get some wins at the finish line.

Well I think Collotto will be back for this game, so he will partner Ze Castro in defence.. I also hope Lotina give both Raul and Ivan a full 90 mins (in their natural positions, including Juanro). I would also give Chirri or Luis Angel a chance on the left (Neither Alvarez or Ivan can play there!) - nothing to lose!
The other alternative would b to play Riki on the left, with Adrian up front.
Here is how I would play:

..................................Aranzubia....... ...............................
Laure......................Collotto..... Ze Castro..................Raul...
.........................A.Tomas.......Juanro..... ............................
P.Alvarez......................Ivan............... .....................Chirri / Luis Angel.
..................................Riki............ ...................................

As you wish, Lotina tested today with:

Aranzubia
M Pablo - Colotto - Lopo - Raul
Juca - Antonio Tomas

The rest wasn't tested.

ooooo really bad midfielders tested. lotina is stupid
he MUST remove sergio, jd and alvarez from the starters
I think lotina is obliged to opt valeron as starter in some games in a row to check his stamina and abilities for this moment

my tactic for the match:

-------Aranzubia
MP-----Lopo----Colotto----Raul
------A.Tomas--------JR--------
Adrian--Valeron--Perez\Lassad
-----------Riki--------------

If we play with the tested lineup we will make another boring and slow presentation again and again.... such as the previous meeting in zaragoza 0-0

its nice to see Rochella and Raul in the called players

its end of BBVA ..so lotina should try and give the non-starters a starting option

and try using the most logical offensive formation

I would like seeing the formation announced by Lotina

Laure-Lopo-colotto-Raul
Tomas/Juca - JR
Ivan Adrian
Valeron-Riki

lets us see what can two play makers do together

and Give the Adrian the same Rule he was given in Malaga

30/Apr/2010: 17h25: Deportivo: At half-time of the meeting against Zaragoza, Filipe Luis will go out to the pitch of the Riazor and will score a goal as part of the campaign "one goal for the education". Campaign sponsored by la liga and FIFA.

Good, 1-0 for us already. What a return for Filipe.

Good to see Rochela starting!
