From what I've seen of R Sociedad this season, they like to get the ball quickly out to the wings when they attack. We're going to have to defend well against more crosses than we would normally expect in Primera. If we can keep them scoreless in the first half an hour and silence their fans, then we have a chance of grabbing something here. Listen for the silence and then launch a prolonged all-out attack for the remainder of the first half.

Our defence needs to step 10 metres higher up the pitch and our wingers need to have licence to drift inside at times. More movement from all - each player is too confined in their position.

In the hope that we start well, I think we can get a very good result here.

Lotina said today that against Real Sociedad he will probably use the same squad that faced Osasuna, the only expected modification is the entry of Ze Castro for suspended Lopo....

i want Riki as a starter

He just came from injury that wasn't supposed to heal this week

so seeing him starting is stupid ......

Riki will enter in last 20-30 minutes

Besides, in theory Adrian fits better, for away games, to run in the counter-attack.
In theory, though, in reality he fits only in the U-21 national team

Seoane. And today Lotina tested a lineup with Rochela joining Ruben Perez at midfield.

I read he tried both J Dominguez and Rochela for that open spot in the middle. If Dominguez is fit, he seems like the more natural replacement.

I was expecting comment like this

For me it proves that a coach that has left with 2 DMs and one more, injured till recently, is trying to have an emergency alternative if one of those 2 DMs eat a sour yogurt before the game, or gets injured during the last training or whatever.

Of course if everyone among Dominguez, Perez and Rodriguez is fit, Rochela won't be used.
