Default LIGA 10/11 | Deportivo v Malaga 3-0 | 21-11-10 | Post Match Comments

Having not played a particularly good game, we still got a fantastic 3-0 win against a direct rival. And with the win, we've distanced ourselves down to exactly Malaga and the relegation zone with 4 points. Absolutely vital.

We were quite fortunate with the 2-0 lead in the 1st half, as we didn't really create anything, but neither did they, and Álvarez scored a beauty to win us the game.

Vamos DEPOR!!

We looked to be in total control for the most part of the second half (the only one I saw) and the Alvaréz peach was the perfect exclamation point to our resurgence out of the relegation zone. Is it time to get used to feel like this?

behind the back dribble is the order of the day!
Seonne looked good today as well as Alvarez in his goal

VERY VERY VERY important 3 points...many of our rivals lost this weekend

Only saw the first half, and we looked pretty drab, but we got the goals. Overall, if you looked at the stats of the match, you would be safe to assume that it was 3-0 the other way around.
Doesn't matter. 8 goals in the last 4 Primera matches (10 if you include the Copa). Generally winning ugly, but that goal from P. Alvarez was a beauty for sure. Another clean sheet too.

From what I saw, Lopo, Adrian, Ruben, Seoane.

At work today, so I missed it. But I'm very happy with the result. Looking forward to the highlights later on tonight after I get home from the MLS cup final.

For me the best were Lopo & Colotto. Lopo always clearing everything and Colotto too, even scoring a goal. I also liked Seoane, who little by little is claiming the left spot. I also liked Juan Rodriguez, maybe his best game on the season, if you noticed it he earned almost all the corner-kicks for Depor.

And what about Aranzubia? huge save when the score was still 0-0
