Default LIGA 10/11 | Racing v Deportivo 1-0 | 28-11-10 | Post Match Comments

Well, it wasn't the result that could take us out of the relegation battle.

The game was played on the most horrendous of pitches, but all in all, despite us having some good chances we could've scored on, it's probably a deserved victory, especially considering their superiority in the 1st half.

However, I took positives from this match, too, Ruben Perez in particular was amazing in midfield, and of course, Aranzubia saved us from a bigger defeat.

Despite the loss, there's still 4 points down to the relegation zone, and a win next week against Hercules could bring us further away again. But we mustn't let this become a bad run - we really need to seize the form we seemed to have gotten.

I think we were watching different channels because IMO Ruben was terrible, actually in Radio Voz they described his performance as "awful"

Anyway, nobody had a good game, just Aranzubia. This result just demonstrate that we have nothing if we, by any reason, are losing a game. Things could have been different with that post of Adrian, but in the end small details define poor games like this one.

I don't get it. I definitely think Ruben Perez did very well. Best work rate on the pitch, which made him very influential, gave everything in the tackles and was composed on the ball. Did have a couple of bad passes, but there wasn't a single player that didn't on the great pitch.

We didn't really dominate the game, but such is the approach that the team needs to take as exemplified with our win last week. A win in which Ruben Perez was, btw., greatly praised, which I think was a bit too much. But I didn't find it to be so today.

unfortunately, Aljazeera sport was substituting between games so I only watched about 25-30 minutes

the pitch is terrible ,,,, and since Racing are used to such pitch ...they siezed it against us

I am against some substitutes that lotina made ... introducing Valeron in such pitch and condition ....I would have introduced Saul or Urreta

ACAB

I would hate if Ruben Perez was our best player. He is not gonna be with us within 18 monthes, and does not bring us any money...

Ruben played ok, and offered good movement, he needs to improve his ball retention, because he gave the ball away far to often.

M.Pablo had another poor game, I dont understand why Seoane is not playing as right back. Aythami made some school boy errors, and the two wide men, Desmarets and P.Alvarez were inefective.

I think the return of Saul and Urreta for the Hercules game will be a bonus.. but ultimately we are missing Riki up front.

As for Aythami.. perhaps Ze Castro or Rochela could take his place for the next game.

Again we played a bad match, like the ones from the first few rounds. In this match we didn't have the luck from the last few matches. If Adrian scored on 0-0, maybe we would have won the match. i really don't understand, why Lendoiro changed the tactic. We were wining, and anything in the defence was pretty nice, and than he changed Pablo and seoane...
Seoane was good on this position on the previous matches, and why he removed Pablo from his natural position???
I like Seoane as RB, but definittly not Pablo as LB. What is going on with Morel and Rindaroy. This is a bad mistake from our coach. I praised him in the last few matches, and now he made a childish mistake.
It's true that we haden't many key players, and with the that team in Sunday, we done the best. The situation would be different if we had Saul and Guardado in the middle and Riki on the attack.
A.C.A.B!!!
Nice to see Riazor Blues on away matches They should practice this often
