If I knew more about anatomy, I would point to a number of reasons why my physichal health can't take more of these. We've been to hell and now we're back again.

Valeron was outstanding and in general we played a really great match except for not scoring more goals. I really think we played in a clever lineup and Lotina have finally found the best way to defend with Valeron AND two strikers. Valeron is almost the most advanced player when we defend but as soon as we have the ball he goes back to collect it while the two stikers move forward.

The referees did all they could for damaging us again with wrong off side missing penalties but we were simply better than that!!!

Relief....for the time being! That's all I can really say right now. That match has drained me, plus the day in general I've had.

We have to admit, that in exchange for the Gijon games (both), we had awful big good-luck against Bilbao on both matches this year. But who cares?

Hala Madrid against Getafe, Pepe destroy them!

Yep, I managed to find some time to watch the last two games.

Last time I paid for it with my finger nails and a hell of a hangover the day after since I eventually succeeded in drowning the sorrow with wine.

This time it only cost what had grown back out of my finger nails. Needless to say it was worth it.

Nice post djalma and spot on. As ever, you are an astute judge of a football match. Pity Lotina kinda stumbled on this formation and personnel at the season's death. Deserved, if nervous, victory. Rik, if you start crying at the Valencia game, I don't know what I'll do!!!
