I didn't realise we had such a bad eputation against Valencia in recent times! We have to correct this! We have to avenge for 94.

Good luck to the guys going to the match. Make sure the paramedics are on standby!

Win for saving, lose for relegation (probably)
Anyway, this game is very important for me!!
Don't think another rivals would lose the games that let us save.
Come on~Depor players. Put the effort and ambition on this game. We have suffered bad history against Valencia recently 6-7 yrs. But we can change it.

The last roll of the dice ! If we win, we are safe !
Once again we face Valencia in one of the biggest games in our history, but this time we are not fighting for the league, but for survival.
Its gonna be a tense week for everyone involved in this relegation battle.
A point may be enough for us, depending on the Zaragoza and Getafe results - but I want us to go out there and win in front of our home fans - and celebrate the end of the season positively.

Come on Depor, we know we can do it !

There area lot of important matches next weekend.

Sociedad v Getafe is highly important to us. IMO

We must win to be sure and then there is lots of options to be safe with a draw. Even 44/45 points may not be safe. The highest number of points to go down in recent times was Betis with 42.

The past for me is unimportant. The team are focused on one goal and that is to win at all costs. We will also have a full house and that counts for 2 in my books. Not to mention the 15 strong Irish, Scotish etc.

Will be a match for the history books

..............................Dani................ ...........
Laure................Lopo....Colotto.......Manolo. P.
.......................Juanro....Ruben............ .......
Adrian..............JuancarlosValeron....Guardado.
..............................Xisco............... ...........

I would start with Xisco, to add muscle & height to our attack. If after 70 minutes, we need to push for a goal - I would bring on Riki for Xisco, and possibly Lassad for Adrian.

I'm honestly not so confident about this game. I give us a 50% of getting relegated. Valencia is very strong away from home, having won over half of their away games. Besides, we have a very poor record against Valencia the past 7 years. Anybody knows if they'll play half a B-squad, like Barca did?

Either way, this is going to be a terrible week. If we get relegated, we'll be haunted by the memories of what happened in Gijon, and by that terrible miss of Xisco in Barcelona. On one hand, I can't wait till Sunday, but on the other, I'll be nervous as hell 5 minutes before the game starts. Realising that we could very well be in Segunda two hours later.

I wish I could be at the game, cause being in the stadium is a great way to keep those nerves under control. You worry a lot less while supporting your team. Sitting alone in front of the computer for two hours, that's gonna be like hell

Let's not make the same mistake we made against Bilbao of course. Our defense must be concentrated since the first minute. I don't see us coming back as "easily" as we did against Bilbao, if we were to go a goal down.

I will forget the Xisco chance, but no way the robbery at Gijon...

True that! But at least there are the streams. Imagine follow such a game via spanish radio, or just an update in the score (livescore or whatever).
In every single second you could picture the whole Valencia squad in front of Aranzubia

Agree with ggeorg. Xisco's chance was a chance but I put it down as good goalkeeping rather than a bad miss. The game in Gijon was completely different as were totally robbed, cheated even. I won't forget that in a long time.

As for being able to keep my nerves under control at the stadium, are you kidding me??? I'm probably going to have to wear a big nappy cos I'm so nervous and I don't imagine I'm suddenly going to be overcome with a sense of calmness anytime soon.
