If that's the case, I don't think anyone has to hope. I don't see how Lotina's defensive mindset will work with Villarreal's players.

RM is making Malaga look like Barca (minus Messi)

still not enough to get a point however..

FT they got their point. Real, mainly Benzema, played liked being paid to not win.

RM was very slow specially in the 2nd half & they didn't deserve the 3 points....

sad 4 Molina that he was sacked bcoz of a last minute free kick

Lotina announced as coach for Villarreal. One of those moments where you're unsure whether you should laugh or cry.

RMCF should have received a penalty, when Marcelo was faulted inside the box. Good refereeing finally.

We shall see how Lotina succeeds at Villarreal. Crapparos is not that bad in Mallorca...

Lotina is the master; he could end up with two relegations in the same season: Villarreal and Villarreal B

What a pity. I liked Villarreal and thought they would avoid the relegation...

I wouldn't say Villarreal is doomed or anything, don't forget Lotina did get us into Europe, and in his third year we were in CL position halfway through the season, but hiring him is indeed a huge risk they're taking.

Very curious to see how this will turn out.

Valencia could've easily won 5-0. Unbelievable how many chances they missed. But even despite their lack of aim, the only reason Zaragoza won is because of the referee. Even Zaragoza players themselves couldn't believe it when they suddenly got a penalty for absolutely nothing. Valencia in turn could've had 3 valid penalties, but the ref didn't whistle any of them.

Zaragoza really is the luckiest team ever. Kind of reminded me of their win at the Bernabeu last season.
