Default Segunda | Alcorcón v Depor| Sep 24 | 18h00 (CET) | pre-match

First historical meeting with Alcorcón. We play at the little Santo Domingo stadium with a capacity of only 3,000 spectators.

I just noticed that 6 of the top 7 teams at Segunda play against each other this weekend; Sabadell-Hercules and Elche-Almeria are scheduled as well. This makes our game all the more interesting

But now Salomao is injured... Sigh.

Not sure, but I think their stadium was reformed after the promotion to 2nd division, going from 3000 to 5,600. Anyway, still being a small stadium indeed, a typical 2nd division stadium.

This is the stadium they're building apparently, with a capacity of 7900 spectators. Their current stadium appears to have a capacity of 5900, so I'm guessing they just put up some temporary stands behind the goal or something. They did the same at my local team SV Waregem, while they're waiting for the construction of the new stadium.

Hopefully Oltra will have a decent squad to choose from, providing there are no more injuries from the Sabadell game .. i.e. Solomao, Lassad.

We need to continue with the momentum and go for the 3 points here, it will probably be another tough game for us though.

That's just bull.. I've been in a bus for eight hours and sure, it's not that fun, but they wont be travelling in a typical bus. They probably have a special edition bus with great air condition, much spaces and as much food/drinks they want. They can't be exhausted by that, otherwise they're weaklings and don't deserve to be trained football players. That's no excuse.

My mistake. Yes the stadium was reformed and its new capacity is 5,600 seats. Still, it's a small stadium.

Traveling by bus in order to save money, but it shouldn't be a problem as the road Madrid-La Coruña is fine on bus, mainly since it's our own bus.

15 years ago, Depor was the second club to have their own bus, after Real Madrid. It's a special bus, very different from a normal one. Designed for the players, to travel as comfortable as possible, with leather seats, a large table to playing cards at the rear, video screens for every two people, DVD, WIFI, fridge, coffee, bed, bath ...
Besides, this type of travel saves money, which is important for our delicate economy.
