Default Copa | Depor v Alcoyano | Oct 12 | 22h00 (CET) | pre-match

Well, I'm careless of this game. Seriouly, la liga is the only thing that matters, but if we win, then we are going to face a mid-table Primera club on next round.

I would normally agree Carlos, except we need to put down a marker now. Last Saturday night was the line we must draw in the sand. No more can we tolerate performances like that. If we are going to be serious contenders in Segunda, we need to banish the last game with a convincing, high tempo performance. Alcoyano didn't really impress me at the weekend - it was just that we were so poor. So, I'm expecting a win, but I'll be looking very closely at how we achieve it.

Someone needs to ask the individual players and then the group altogether: are you Segunda players or can you cut it at Primera level??

Because right now, the bulk of our squad look nothing better than average Segunda players and that's just not good enough.

I dont think the Copa Del Rey is that important for us in comparison to the league but I agree with Rack. We need to find some consistantly good performances and if that means starting with the cup, then the sooner the better.

It is better Coach Oltra does this, than the RB. At least better for the players' health, but maybe not effective enough...

I want for us to kick Alcoyano in the ass. To prove that we are on the right track. But are we?

I don't like we play for cup tonight. I expect a reaction for the team, and it's bad to waste the reaction on a non-important game.

If a defeat tonight means, higher alarming bells, that could motivate the players for two straight wins (after two straight defeats) i will get that.

I agree. In other circumstances this match could be trivial and irrelevant, but now, after our last defeat, it has become a kind of test for our players, and I guess that another defeat would be dangerous and would generate more doubts. So I imagine that our players will be quite motivated tonight. Btw, Celta 4- Valladolid 1 (FT), played this morning.

I'd like to see this team tonight:

........................... Lux

Seoane ... Ze Castro .. Rochela ... Ayoze

........ .A.Bergantiños .. J.Dominguez

Saul ............... Juan Carlos ......... Salomao

.......................... Riki

Although this game isn't our top priority, I think it would be interesting to make it through and see where we stand against a Primera team. Plus, we need to return Alcoyano the favor at our home, it would be a good morale boost for the team, especially if we mostly play our youngsters. This is a game for Juan Carlos to shine IMO. Looking forward to seeing him play.

i know its more important to win in the league, but also we need to go far as we can in this, plus i think it will give us more motivation when we beat primera teams in the next rounds, also its the only way to play in Europe next year
