Dammit, my body doesn't function to be awake at these hours.

Anyway, a win could be really, really nice - it's so close at the top that things can turn dramatically in one round, as we've just seen.

I had my doubts after I glanced at the historical data, but now when I know this I'm confident we will shine.

look at the points of the top ten teams: in this match specifically a win is a great boost and a loss is a great let down.

Also we have full attack for it, with the return of Xisco, Guardado and Gama along with Salamao. I believe that if these guys do their best and also Salamao imporves his last touch: we will have a lethal attack. I'd imagine that most of our games will end up with alot of goals scored and conceived, we will get used to 3-2 result and results like that thanks to our defense too :d

A new test to see if the mentality of the team has indeed changed after the derby (as most people inside the club are claming), and it will be a tough test it seems. Lets hope our boys show the same spirit of last sunday.

So, Lassad will start for the next few games due to Riki's injury. We are getting closer to seeing an attacking formation of Valeron-Guardado-Salomao-Gama.

And I suppose Vasquez will return against Elche, even though JD had a very good game against Celta. I guess that's how it should be, Vasquez was starting to play better and his place in the team should be secure until his level dips again. But Oltra now knows that JD is a viable option for the pivote role.

I'd think about leaving Valeron on the bench to start with.

I'd love to see us play in a 4-1-4-1 formation, with the four you just mentioned as attacking midfielders. Salomao and Gama on the wings, with Valeron and Guardado in a more central position. Having Valeron and Guardado more close together in center midfield, would be a huge help imo.

It's a shame that we don't really have anyone who could be the defensive midfielder in this formation. Nobody really is strong enough at the moment. I do think we could do some serious damage with a line-up like this. It would at least help the fact that we're underpopulated in attack.

What's actually quite strange, is that there are only 3 teams in Segunda who have scored more goals than Depor...
