Not much to say really. Boring enough game, but we got a point from a field where we usually fail. Good result, but no real talking points.

I guess both teams are happy with this result, and probably the draw is fair. Valladolid gave us the ball in the 1st half but we didn't create danger. Besides that they had the clearest chance when Sisi sent the ball to the post.

In the 2nd half Valladolid was more aggressive, and create a lot of danger, specially with Nauzet and his crosses, as Ayoze couldn't stop him. One of those crosses was headed by Javi Guerra to the net. Fortunately for us, the ref, in a wrong decision, disallowed the goal for off-side. At the end of the match Colotto's header to the post could have given us the 3 points, but IMO a draw is the fairest result today.

Considering Valladolid away is probably one of the toughest games of the season, I'd say a draw is a great result. We were very lucky that their goal was incorrectly cancelled.

Anyway, we've had a really tough schedule in the five past games. Celta, Valladolid, Almeria and Elche will all be teams fighting for promotion, and Murcia is also an outsider for a play-off ticket. Three of these games were played away from home, and we managed to get 8/15, which is reasonable. At home, we did what we had to do, and away, we grabbed points at Valladolid and Murcia. Curiously, our best away game was at Elche, but there we left without any points.

If we were to get 4 out of 6 every two games for the rest of the season, we'd be champions. Hopefully we'll continue down this path. Win our home games, draw our away games... That's all I ask

I suppose there were a couple of things that happened that are worth mentioning.

1. Ze Castro failing to play the full game, yet again. Although we do look a lot more solid with him at the back, we are never going to be able to rely on this guy imo.

2. Borja's debut and his crunching first tackle. I guess he had planned to whack somebody straight away to make a statement to the Depor fans and and to release all his pent-up frustrations at his lengthy injury.

Just got back a couple of hours ago, after leaving Valladolid at 6am. Will write about the trip in a bit more detail in the coming days. Off to bed for a couple of hours, then start work at 11pm.

Not the greatest game. A very welcome point against a rival considering our poor away form.

I read in the press this morning there was about around 800 fans. Fantastic turnout considering the lousy kick off time. One of the best atmospheres at an away match I have been to.

we got a point that we don't deserve, but thanks to the linesman 4 the disallowed goal, a normal bad performance from Depor away from home, where u can see we have no ideas when we have the ball, Valeron & Lassad just walk when we lose the ball. Ayoze's problems are against any right winger...!!!

after all i'm happy with the point but not with what i saw.
