A win is a win; it wasn't pretty, but we already are at the 2nd place

The most important thing to me, is that none of the 11 players who started against Levante, started the game today. This means we have a very big squad, where everyone can be replaced. In a league of 42 games, this is vital. I can't help but think that this team is gonna finish much stronger than it started, while most of the other team will have the opposite problem. We shouldn't be suffering from fatigue at the end of the season, while other teams will be having trouble with this. The fact that we're already in 2nd now, is really, really promising.

Also, grinding out a 0-1 win sounds like a promising thing to me right now. It looks like the Colotto-Ze Castro pairing is coming together.
I agree with what Greg says too. Let's hope this team is finally gelling and starting to understand Oltra's system.
All Depor needs to do is hold serve against Levante this week, and there's a lot to be happy about over the holiday break.

A valuable 3 points away from home and a clean sheet.
Ze Castro and Colotto are forming a solid partnership.
Borja gives us something different in midfield.
Lassad is getting 2-3 chances per game, and his scoring record this season is quite good. Overall we are doing quite well, A new left back and a striker would be the icing on the cake.

Feliuk is right - we're still not playing really good, especially in away games. I only saw the last 55 minutes and it was poor enough stuff. Wins gloss over the cracks, but I agree that we're improving all the time, especially at the back. Valeron's poor form away from the Riazor is still a worry for me. Deporiginal's point about our squad strength in depth is well made. At some stage, this will be an important factor in the season. The most positive thing for me is that we are learning to suffer in games and come out the other side by adding vital points. That's a quality you either have in a squad or you don't. Let's hope it only gets stronger from here to the end of the season. Onward and upwards!

Not playing well but we're still picking up points so I'm absolutely deligted. As others have said I think that we'll get stronger and stronger as the season wears on and our squad depth will come in to play.

why are we supposed to be above Hercules?

It's the overall goal difference that matters, not the games between us? (we lost at home from Hercules)
