A final in February. If we don't win things will be pretty dark!

The last visits of Granada took place at Segunda:
1987-88 RC Deportivo 0 - 0 Granada CF
1984-85 RC Deportivo 0 - 1 Granada CF
1983-84 RC Deportivo 1 - 1 Granada CF
1979-80 RC Deportivo 1 - 0 Granada CF
1978-79 RC Deportivo 0 - 3 Granada CF
1977-78 RC Deportivo 3 - 1 Granada CF
1976-77 RC Deportivo 0 - 0 Granada CF

Against better judgment, I'm still left with a little hope right now. But if we don't win against Granada, we're done, simple as that. Here's hoping for a win and a confidence boost.

I can only hope Marchena makes it back in time, alongside Kaka, who really looked promising considering he had only been here for 1 training. I wonder if Domingos will change the scheme.

I'd love to see Gama on the bench and Marchena starting the game.

I would start with this 11 against Granada (based on players being fit):

..................................Lux............. ...................
Laure..............Marchena....Kaka............... Ayoze...
........................Assuncao..Alex............ ..............
Pizzi..........................JuanDo............. ....Solomao.
..................................Riki............ ....................

we need someone with pause & composure on the ball, that man has to be JuanDo. We also could do with some pace on the counter attack, Salomao fits the bill.

The coach needs to make some changes!

Need to be benched: Gama looks burnt out, Dani is off form, Evaldo is poor, Aythami is poor, Camunas & Andre dont really bring anything to the team.
Oliviera, lets hope he looks more motivated when he next plays.

In this formation we have 7 players who did not play last game, almost the whole team, and I think that they are way better...I hope that Laure will recover quickly from the injuries. Lux and Solomao deserve to play.
I agree with you Ricardo
Only if Mr. Domingos consider this solution.

Well, the 4-3-3 against Getafe was a disaster because there was no cohesion between the lines at all. Nobody to get the ball and give a simple pass to retain possession. For me, Valeron must start against Granada. What he lacks in mobility, he makes up for in brains. So, I'd favour a return to the traditional 4-2-3-1

I had a good dream last night. We beat Granada with 1-0 and the goal was scored by Riki 88'min. Three points in the bag guys, trust me

With the football shown so far from depor we will lose. Most of the players don't have anything to offer with that poor morale. I'm sorry to be so pessimistic I just can't see us winning anything if we can't win against 10 men and in front with one goal

I'd actually like to see both Riki and Nelson starting against Granada. Time for a change

I was thinking the same, but that would mean no Valeron. I'm sort of torn between the two options. But you're right, a change is needed from the 4-3-3

From what I'm reading on the Spanish forums - the Depor fans are very angry with how the club is being run and the poor attitude of the players.
They are discussing whether to support the players at the hotel/bus like previous seasons. Or whether to boo the players at the beginning of the game and wave banners/hankerchiefs .. etc.

1 in 4 Spaniards are currently unemployed in Spain at this moment in time. Our fans struggle to pay for the match tickets, then they see players representing their team, who dont put any effort or passion into their jobs. Its no wonder that they are so angry.
