Default LIGA: 01-06-2013 | Depor v Real Sociedad | 21h00 | Pre-match thread

First the good news: we only need to win and that's it. Besides, there are no suspensions and even Marchena could be available.

The bad news: Real Sociedad need to win, though they have small options of CL, while in the other matches nobody is playing for important things:

Celta-Espanyol
Mallorca-Valladolid
Zaragoza-Atlético

The last visits of Real Sociedad:
2010-11 - RC Deportivo 2-1 Real Sociedad de Fútbol
2006-07 - RC Deportivo 2-0 Real Sociedad de Fútbol

2005-06 - RC Deportivo 0-1 Real Sociedad de Fútbol
2004-05 - RC Deportivo 2-2 Real Sociedad de Fútbol
2003-04 - RC Deportivo 2-1 Real Sociedad de Fútbol
2002-03 - RC Deportivo 2-1 Real Sociedad de Fútbol
2001-02 - RC Deportivo 3-1 Real Sociedad de Fútbol
2000-01 - RC Deportivo 4-1 Real Sociedad de Fútbol
1999-00 - RC Deportivo 2-0 Real Sociedad de Fútbol

1998-99 - RC Deportivo 0-1 Real Sociedad de Fútbol
1997-98 - RC Deportivo 1-1 Real Sociedad de Fútbol
1996-97 - RC Deportivo 1-0 Real Sociedad de Fútbol
1995-96 - RC Deportivo 1-1 Real Sociedad de Fútbol
1994-95 - RC Deportivo 3-1 Real Sociedad de Fútbol

We can win this!!!And even if not, when espanyol play against celta as good as against us celta will have problems to win.If the games are not sold by the refery or the teams we have a chance.I believe in the spirit of the Team and with a full Riázor we can win!!!!
I hope that all ex players from Super Depor will be there to support us Bebeto,Makaay,Luque, victor sanchez,Jorge Andrade,Djalminha,Donato and even Iruetta come on book the flight to la coruna and support us!!!!

Vamos Deportivo La Coruña!!!!!!!!

about the injuries and suspensions...i think yesterday JD saw his 5th yellow card..so he will miss the last match unfortunately....

anyway everything is in our hands....we are the only team which if take the 3pts next weekend will surely be saved....and doesnt depend on the other results and teams....cuz noone of the other 3 teams will not be saved at 100% if take 3pts...

a draw will not be enough one of celta or Zaragoza will win, all the teams play at home, Atletico Madrid , Valladolid & Espanyol play for nothing.

I hope Valencia will score 3 gaols in the 1st minutes so Sociedad will lose it, we drew vs them away & had our chances to win the game.

If Aythami doesn't play we can win this

Code:
17 R.C. Deportivo 35 18 R.C. Celta 34 19 R. Zaragoza 34 20 R.C.D. Mallorca 33

So, let's see if I can summarize (I may need some help )

If we win:
- we are saved, no matter what.

If we draw:
- we are saved if neither of the others win
- we are saved if Mallorca wins and the others do not win, or both draw their games
- we are relegated if any one of the others win

If we lose:
- we are saved if neither of the others win
- we are saved if both Celta and Zaragoza tie
- we are doomed if either of the others win
- we are doomed if Zaragoza draws and Celta doesn't

Now, according to the bookies, Mallorca and Celta are very likely to win (1.45 each), and even Zaragoza is deemed likely to win (1.90)
That means we would have to overcome our 2.40 odds to win.... it'll be very tense next weekend!

I don't think it's going to matter, but we are not doomed in a case of loss if Celta draws and Zaragoza doesn't (assuming Mallorca don't win), vice versa, however, yes. Also, should only Mallorca win and we manage a draw, we stay up, too.

In any case, this is so scary. I don't see any viable option but a win. It would be nice if Valencia could pay something back from last time around by taking care of Sevilla quickly.

we can see effects of all "Si Se Puede" and "Podese" things in Riazor against Sociedad.

and with love from Turkey to Paciencia. We lost 4 matches against osasuna, valencia, getafe and granada with him.

i think FV could win 1 match at least..

I just can't see us not conceding a goal(s), with Aythami and Aythami-like defenders we have.

Not too optimistic.

the other 3 at home not winning this is not going to happen, maybe Atletico will play for dignity Gabi will help them to survive & it seems Filipe willb miss the game.

So we win we stay otherwise 99 % we will go down 4 teams 3 will go down we are in the best position before the game.

I guess its between us & Celta

let me check the direct confrontations situation between Depor and the other 3 incase we end up with the same points:

Celta 1-1 Depor
Depor 3- 1 Celta

with Celta it's in our favor

Zaragoza 5-3 Depor
Depor 3-2 Zaragoza

with Zaragoza is it in our favor?!

Depor 1-0 Mallorca
Mallorca 2- 3 Depor

with Mallorca in our favor!
