You can call it Galician derby, but it's only the second visit of Lugo to the Riazor

1974-75 - Tercera - RC Deportivo 2-1 CD Lugo

The same injured players, but with Kaká returning

This game isn´t a heated derbi on paper, but playing against a direct rival in the standings will make this an intense match regardless. The fact that there are several ex-depor players on Lugo will make it interesting too.

A must win. Lugo is always considered in the lower tier of teams in Galicia and losing to them would be terrible for Depor. That being said, for Lugo this is there biggest game of the season and they will come out ready to go as many of their players support Depor off the field and have dreamt of playing at Riazor.

Although Depor had asked for an agreement for the exchange of 1,700 tickets with a price of 18 euros, Lugo said that they can't sell that high amount of tickets with that price in their stadium, for reasons of capacity, and mainly because the "new stand" they have (provisional, not fixed) belongs to a private company, so Lugo must pay them almost 20 euros per ticket in that stand.

So the final agreement was 400 tickets at 20 euros and 425 at 30 euros for both derbies.
Of course, Lugo sold everything for this derby in a few hours, and Depor send them 600 tickets more at 35 euros.

Anw, there's a lot of people of Lugo that just comes to the Riazor directly for the tickets, or have friends deportivistas and socios who can buy tickets for them, so surely there will be more than 2,000 at the Riazor next saturday.

As a curiosity, at minute 10, fans of both teams will shout NUNCA MÁIS!!, as a protest for the recent sentence about the Prestige's catastrophe. Next day there will be demonstrations in several galician towns.

Xosé! Can you please write a short summary of that sentence in the News where you are topic? Thanks in advance!

I welcome the Lugoistas in the Riazor, until they behave themselves correcly.

Only 825 tickets for the return game in Lugo as well? That'll make it extremely tough to get tickets.

high attendance brilliant! I have no doubts we are going to win this. probably FV will repeat the scheme from the past match with Ponferadina.

Spanish soccer and Galician federation makes me only believe this game will end in a tie to keep morale and both team positions high in the table. I hope im wrong though.
