I have seen Sporting Srbija several times this season. They are nothing special either, beatable, but they can also cause us problems.

i disagree with Kalman & i think Sporting Gijon they will win this league, they are a strong team, if we lose this game we will be out for the direct promotion seat, i hope we will win this is a very important game

Gijón is a very mediocre team with strong physical play. If the referee is the type who whistles easily (which rarely happens against Gijón), they'll have a really tough afternoon. If they're allowed to practice their at times dirty football, they can cause lots of trouble though. Scepovic is half the team by the way, if he's out of the game, so is Gijón.

I think in Segunda there are not so much differences between the teams in the first 10. There will be only details making the difference. Lets hope, that such a detail will be the advantage of playing home or the presence of JD on midfield... We missed him so much against Murcia. There was no creativity at all on or side back then. Nevertheless, I am pretty confident in a win here, which would be a big step towards the promotion, however, as I said, Segunda is pretty balanced, so it would be still a long way to go.

My 1st thought was to cringe and shake my head and I have to admit that I hate this system.

However........given our inability to defend a set piece, I reckon anything is worth a try because at the moment, everytime we face a set piece, I get worried and think we are very vulnerable, so maybe this might actually improve something. Can it get much worse?

13/Feb/2014: 13h10: Deportivo: The first team trained today at Abegondo. German Lux completed part of the training session with the other goalkeepers. Fernando Vázquez trained today how to defend the set-pieces. 13 of the 18 goals allowed by Depor have been conceded in set-pieces.
