Well, it wasn't pretty, but a vital 3 points.
Great goal by Laure, after a wonderful 1-2 with JD.
Lux made some valuable saves and FV again resorted to ultra-defensive actions in the second half.
It's a happy Sunday for a change........

55 minutes in, pretty equal game, Zaragoza taking risks and Depor very dangerous on the counter. FV suddenly takes off our best player and we end up camping for 40 minutes in our own half against a very poor rival. Yes, we got the three points, but if there was any justice in football, they would've equalised. Fortunately for us, Zaragoza is ridiculously poor right now.

Every week I think FV can't get any worse, every week he proves me wrong. To me, his Wilk - Juan Carlos sub ranks up there as the dumbest one he did since he came to Depor.

Very happy with the three points and the players' commitment. FV, on the other hand, can go to hell. I can't think of a worse coach than him anymore. Simply unbelievable. If he stays after this summer, promotion or not, we'll either get relegated again, or have another disappointing season in Segunda.

Very happy with the win maybe because i hate Zaragoza, i don't like the mentality that after you score a goal somehow you just have to defend that goal...!! FV changed the game when he decided to take JC out and bring Wilk

why we can't play like other teams and go for the 2nd goal

Anyone else feel Ifran was running slower then Touche? I can't stand watching a slow striker be up front for us its agonizing.

Really don't get FV. We were finally getting control of the game so he decides to sub our best player and the one who was keeping possession better than anyone else for a holding midfielder whilst shoving Alex back. Immediately this gave Zaragoza the initiative when really we should have pushed for the second to kill the game.

Luis showed why he should be our starting forward because despite a severe lack of support he managed to cause a lot of problems for their defence...............and his fate of course? to get subbed.

Lucky to get away with this one today, mainly because Zaragoza were so poor. A more positive mindset and I feel we would have been in cruise control instead of biting fingernails for the last few minutes.

So glad I got up early to watch. Stupid move by FV to play defensively so early in the second half. But I'm very happy with the 3points. And since I actually watched this match... I'll be sure to vote.

There are lots of reasons for critizizing FV but I do not get the it when you critizizing him for playing defensively when Zaragose only had 1 try at goal in the entire second half... looking backward he did the right thing.

I just watched the second part of the second half and saw a clear
5-4-1 defense. It wasn't a 5-2-2-1, there were two lines of defensive wall that Zara couldn't do anything against.

Should we push for a second goal? Normal teams at same situation probably should, but according to our offensive game and possetion attributes I would have to say no. If we start the game like that (Barca B) then I am angry, but if we use the tactic in 2nd half to protect the score in a darby I agree. In Primera we will have to resort to this tactic probably even more offen as our quality attack wise is poor. And I doubt we are in such a condition that we could get Primera reinforcments for the next season.

3 points in the bag, clean sheet, shitty play and one aditional step in the road to Primera.
