Jose Rodriquez is proving his position on the bench with that game and absolutely had no right to complain in a press conference. Fabricio was a stand out for me as usual. He took a ball to the face and looked like he did it purposely.

didn't see the game but was following some group ...as they said the ref didn't give us a penalty we deserved !

Victor needs to forget about Juando and Postiga what they do is make the team slow

I have nothing against a 5-men defense. In fact, we played our best football of the last decade with that formation. But VF has been preparing this line-up for two weeks, and we looked absolutely lost in the first half. That's inexplicable to me. And it's funny how he keeps benching Wilk while he's consistently been our best player the past several weeks.

Medunjanin has been disappointing so far, but he simply has to start. If anyone could force something, it's him, though he still has a long way to go. In any case, Medunjanin isn't really the defensive type. So to pair him with Juan Domínguez is just madness, imo. I'm sick of looking at our line-up before the game is going to start, knowing that it's just not going to work. I'll never understand how paid professionals can make these type of horrible decisions. I mean, seriously, every single time we tried going forward a little, the moment we lose the ball, Sociedad gets a big change and we look completely disjointed and disorganised. Chaos. What has he been training on the past two weeks?

We had our best spell around minute 65, and I kept thinking, Toché or Cuenca would be so much more useful now than Helder Postiga. I really don't see why he keeps getting a place in the starting eleven, since he has done absolutely nothing for us so far. Then he brings in Toché and Cuenca, but too late.

Basically I hope we end the year just above relegation zone. Hopefully we get a new coach and perhaps 1 or 2 new players in January. If Salomao and Lucas Perez get spared from injuries, perhaps we can survive this season.

If this was penalty for us I don't know what Lopo's play was a bit later. Here we can not complain.
Otherwise decent game without any ideas as always.Very frightening was that for the entire game Jose Rodriguez dared to shoot once and Medunjanim as well but high in the sky.

Juan dominguez was awful. Wilk really stepped in.

This team is so impotent but with potential shown. It's heart breaking.

Who can get this group to make effort?

Impossible to know now, but I think if we'd gone 4-3-3 we might have won the game.
toni was right in the Min-by-Min thread - 5 defenders is a cowardly approach. Especially at home.
Insua's miss was huge.
Anyone know the reason for the pathetic attendance? First time in a long time I've seen gaps in the Marathon Inferior.

It was raining all night, I think that might've had something to do with it.

Yes, it rained, so many people from the first seats moved to a place under cover. But it's true there was less people than usual, that was also my impression inside the stadium. The fact that it was raining, the late hour and the match on TV for free could explain many people preferred to stay at home, I guess. A big booooo for them!
