Not many things to say about this match...

Good athmosphere at the stadium, although the cold winter night, but we didn't have a chance against a Barça that didn't have to make too much to win easily. Let's hope Cavaleiro injury isn't too serious, and great to have Lucas on the pitch again. His recovery can be a big boost, because I think he's the one who can mark the difference in this team.

Now, let's focus on Granada, because that's a real MUST WIN. And if we can win the goalaverage too (2-1) even better.

Through the game I always thought that we could have returned back to the game

the Ref didn't give us three or at least two deserved penalties !

And two players must be benched next game : Cuenca and Jose as a winger

plus the coach should ask Haris and Cavi to shot from out of the box in such games

I dind't see the game, only 10 minutes with second goal of Messi. But as I read comments and reviews, I had an impression that our game is not so bad. Right now, Barcelona play in another league, and for me it's sure that a game with Granada will be much decisive.
I just hope that VF can bench Cuenca and bring Lucas or someone from Fabril, Cardoso for example.

3 things...

1. Expected result, so no quibbles there
2. First 2 goals, Juanfran was asleep defensively. Once again, I stress that I like this guy, but in games against stronger teams, we simply must put in recognized FB's (Laure)
3. Cavaleiro's injury was coming. He should have been rested yesterday. Bad call by VF to play him IMO.

Expected result, but I've rarely seen a team give so much space to Messi. Probably their easiest game of the season so far.

I'm also reading that Wilk may leave in the coming days. Unbelievable that this clown keeps putting Alex on the pitch, and that now the better player in his position is about to leave.

We finished the first round of the season 1 point above relegation. If possible, I'd sign for finishing the season in the same position right now. With VF's blood.

Meanwhile Djukić's Cordoba added 11/18 points in the last 6 matches.
Great decision with the coach selection for.....Cordoba.

We have some must win games coming up. With the fresh blood of Riera, Costa and Borges, plus the return of Lucas, Salomao and Farina ... I'm confident that we are gonna get some good victories.

return of Salomao
I'm not so confident about him. I simply can't understand what does it mean "mentally not fit to play". It's his fourth season with us. In first two seasons he lost a place on the field to Gama and Guardado/Pizzi, in third season he was sharp, but injury kept him out for a long time. But this year he simply doesn't entered the pitch, just played 1 game as a sub if I remember correctly. Just claimed a spot in first team.
I hope that he will return and shine, but so far it's the most useless transfer to us, including Postiga, Cuenca and Canella.

Our league is not with Barca or teams around them. But next week is a must win.

Tjorni - I think Salomao is playing with fear of getting injured again, thats why VF has been relectant to play him.
As an Arsenal fan, I have seen players like Eduardo, Ramsey and Theo Walcott go through similar issues when returning from serious injuries.
Every individual deals with these things differently, so hopefully Salomao can overcome this and start playing without fear asap.
