Lopo is suspended. Fariña will probably return.

Important game for the battle against relegation

The visits to Almeria:

Well it looks like Postiga re-injured himself in training and Toche still has a few weeks of recovery, so our only forward for the next few games is Oriol. is VF gonna call up Cardoso for a game? At least to have an option off the bench.

Cardoso is also more of a winger/forward then a striker that we need - maybe Dani Iglesias, but I doubt it. Cavaleiro or maybe even Lucas could be options as a striker, but the problem is that both will probably start, so Cuenca/Jose or Farina will be alternatives for Riera with Cavi/Lucas moving to striker when the sub is made.

I would like Cavaleiro to be rested but this a very important game, so this is not the best time. Probably he should be rested in the Real game. But its easy to be smart now

actually now cavaleiro has to play and not rest because after almeria we have 2 very difficult meetings and addition to this we dont have policy to rest plaayers just because we play once a week and there is plenty of time to recover

its good to see cavaleiro as a CF and behind him the trio farina-lukas-cuenca...just same 4 players in attack as the match vs valencia

A MUST win. These 3 points are vital for us, considering our next rivals will be Sevilla at home and Valencia away. If we don't win at Almería, we could easily enter in relegation zone very soon, in 1 or 2 weeks, and I'm afraid we would be suffering until the end of the season to reach the salvation... Anw, I still thinking there are worse teams than us this year, so we should stay in Primera at the end.

Do you remember our last goal at Almería?

Cavaleiro, Postiga, Toche all injured, Lopo banned, Farina and Laure are back in the squad, but VF does not include Wilk or Borja in the list.

IMO Wilk should be in there as JuanDo, Medunjanin and Borges are all quite similar position wise.

what a pity cavaleiro picked a last-minute ankle injury...so maybe farina will be pushed to be a starter otherwise jose or costa will play on the wing together with cuenca

can't really understand how Manuel gets to be picked while we have 2 right full backs and Wilk the substitutes for Alex don't , same goes with Canela

What exactly do you mean, when you say greed...?

He made his debut in the Champions League (2-0 victory against Porto, stopped a penalty), was on the bench for the Champions League final, and he won La Liga with Atletico. Sure, he was on the bench most of the time, but he lived moments most football players can only dream of.

it would be a disaster if we lose today, i remember Aranzubia goal but also Almeria's last minute goal in Riazor.... This is the games that we should win, we need a win to forget the loss in the derby
