Bilbao have hit a slump recently only winning 1 of the last 5 league games, against Sporting Gijon. We have the same in our last 5 games as well, but Bilbao have dropped form as of late. They'll be looking to show up in front of their fans. Let's see how this break has affected the team. At least, we should be more fresh physically but we will need to match Bilbao's intensity from the start.

We badly need a win to boost morale and to get some points on the board.
Kakuta and John have had a decent amount of time to train and integrate with the group, so I am hopeful that they will make a positive impact in the coming weeks.

If I was gambling man, I'd say GG comes out with this lineup:

-------------Tyton
Juanfran---Sidnei---Albentosa----Navarro
----------Guillerme--Borges
Kakuta-----Colak--------Gil
------------Andone

-We've played our best with the 4-2-3-1 this season.

-I think that Kakuta should be nearly 100% fit to start, so I would play him over Gama without a doubt.

-Arribas has started the last few, but against Bilbao I see GG putting Albentosa back in the mix to help our aerial game.

-I personall would start Luisinho over Navarro at LB, but the coach is pretty stubborn.

I wouldn't call this a gambling formation at all. The 4-2-3-1 has been the formation that worked out the best for us this season. Having all those 3 left footed players behind him, Andone will be in heaven! It will be up to him to put a few in the net. It goes without saying that we need a solid defence.

So, we have a 3/4 fit Ole John & Kakuta and they are in the squad before Alex. Ok, Alex is not a winger, but we also have questions about Albentosa/Arribas and Mosquera in midfield. Why no chance for Alex? I'm getting very annoyed over this.

I would bring Mosquera instead of Borges.. We allow too many goals, and hopefully Mosquera could prevent that. Have we ever seen a Mosquera-Guillerme combination??
