Great
We score twice, but the defence was terrible

saw the game after the Madrid derby, and footballIQ besides, 3/4 of our players are either plain lazy or there is something wrong with their condition

1- This was the result of an aging defense. Can't wait to get Insua and Rober back
2- Borges is getting tired these last few games, we the team feels it since he doesn't get to the opposing box as often anymore
3- Kakuta is a good player, who also got tired in the second half, and needed to be subbed.
4- Colak was nonexistent. Fajr should play as a playmaker against Malaga, behind Andone

Whats wrong with this team? Why can't we have balanced season? Our slogan must change IMO. We always have a few players off form. There's some problem somewhere. Obviously Colak,Andone, Sidnei, Borges are off form but why in the most important month of the entire year? Missed penalties, shitty defense, 0 attacking potential this is just crazy. Joselu's form is based on the 3 goals he scored against Madrid and Barca and that's all since then nothing. The only good news is the progress of Marlos, Kakuta, John and Lux(he's been amazing recently). We're exactly where we were 1 month ago. Let's hope Sociedad will beat Sporting and Leganes will fail today. pfffff

My notes after match on Sanchez Pizjuan...

Mel is definitly better coach then Garitano, but...

1) Our best players during Garitano time Colak and Andone dropped down in form...

2) Our defend line looks better during Garitano period...

3) We are definitly 20% worse in comparasion with last season... We didnt find substitution for Lucas Perez (nobody expected that), but also Luis Alberto and Fede (during second part) was better solutions then Ola John, Marlos Moreno, Bruno Gama, and Gil...

4) Mosquera, Arribas and Fajr loosed her places because there was necessery to get free places for players which came in Garitano time (Albentosa, Guilherme, Gil, Bruno Gama)... After 8 months, we can see that Garitano"s players didnt bring much improvments, but Mosquera and Fajir (Arribas maybe not like them, when he have advantage against Albentosa) are definitly worse than last season...

5) Laure hasnt got quality for Primera, we are 25% worse without Juanfran on right side, yesterday it was visible... And I am nit sure for Luisinho can be Primera player next season with 32...

6) I hope we would stay in Primera, but if we would stay it would be because

a) Lucky victory on El Molinon
b) Points during Ryan Babel time...

Whats going is really ridiculous!

Players like Borges, Sidine, Luisinho, Emere and joselu play like if it was a friendly. No heart in playing plus very.

I think Tino needs to talk with them and if we stay we seriously need to consider signing players to cover their areas cause they don't seem to do it and if course here it is Barral to blame

for me worse game this season, players yesterday were either careless or terrified (I dont know from what!!) but they could not make a 3-4 passes without having the ball cut!!

we just need to pray that Granada and Sporting losses, it seems we can't save our self.

big problem yesterday is that our starting defence is maybe the "best" one....how to imagine it....we need definitely fresh blood in defense next season...

Marlos and Joselu are totally useless in the past games...plus Borges out of form and the weak defence...is pretty understandable the result

I know Juanfran became a legend, but actually the first two conceeded goals in the first 8 minutes of the game arrived from his side.

PepeMel talked about it and clearly blamed Juanfran in the press conference.

Mel said "we've been giving things for free" and he is right if you look back over the past 3 games.

It seems like the last few matches, weve only had a couple of players per game, who actually perform to a decent level.
This game was kakuta, last week Marlos & Guilherme, week before Gil and Juanfran. While the rest of the team are below average.
I know players have dips in form due to fatigue, injury or confidence.
But when the majority of the team are not performing, its just not good enough!

What do we do next ... 5 at the back?

What bugs me here is that the first 4 games with Mel our players looked fine giving 101% in the games, but after Barca's game this changed and we have been going backwards...why things went that way is the question?

well, the first one was mostly a mistake of Sidnei. he stood there and waited for the ball. well, it never arrived of course. but the attack went on the side of Juanfran for sure.
