season to forget, very bad from all aspects.
with the players we had we should be now in 10-12 spot, if you think our players are not good then remember that next season we might play without Juanfran, Guilerhmi, Gil, Kakuta, Olajohn and Joselu, we need better replacement for these players which will not be cheap at all!

the reason why we ended suffering this much is players attitude, I can't find something else.

1- Borges is good player, but he is one of the reasons why we can't control the midfield playing against good teams like Villareal, Guilherme should be renewed and should play as a starter next year. I wouldn't mind signing someone like Recio from Malaga
2- Navarro is getting old, but it was nice to see him crying at the end, which means that he actually gives a shxt about this team
3- Colak is not reliable for a whole season, we need another #10 to play as a starter
4- Too many things to mention so I won't do it here. I will wait for someone to create a new thread to discuss next season

I think it will be crucial to have quality wingers that can threat from the sides. Cartabia will come and another hugh quality player should come for that position. Again this year, i expect some permanent signings and less loans, which is the most positive thing to say..

we have to understand, that players' attitude is part of their quality. I like Gil, and consider Guilherme as a primera division player, but I dont think even them are irreplacable either.

we have salvation at last which is the most important thing for us, however poor our season has been.. as already mentioned above, I also believe that there is enough quality in the squad to avoid this type of agony. so looking forward to the next season..

For the good of Depor:
1. Get a new coach.
2. Bring Lucas back on loan.
3. Get 2 good CB's or train Bergantiños to play at this position. Albentosa out.
4. Get a new goalie and keep Lux as a second.
5. Get 2 more good wings and send away Kokuta.
6. Get 1 good LB.
7. Bring 2 Fabril players to train with the 1st squad and play Copa del Rey with them.
8. Bring one more quality midfielder.
9. Less loans please.
10. Make solid pre-season against top class teams.

I liked everything you said, except for the coach part. Mel is a good coach and he proved it during the games when things are not going our way (except for the Real game of course). With a good squad and a good pre-season, we should look decent next year.

I believe Pepe Mel is a bad coach tactically and an average coach overall, and would like someone who is skillful as our coach next season..

I don't see any other coach in Spain that we can afford, and that would be more experienced that Pepe Mel. If you don't agree, mention some names here...

If Eibar was able to afford Mendilibar, Las Palmas was able to afford Quique Setien, then I believe there will be alternatives

Mendelibar failed with so many teams in the past before succeding at Eibar. His style of game is perfect if we keep Oriol Riera for next season. Quique Setien is a good coach, but his results lately remind me of Victor's in the 2nd part of the LIGA with us.

Richard Barral is good at what his does, so let's put our trust in him.
