Default LIGA | Aug-17 -2018 | matchday 01 | 22h00 | Albacete 1 - Depor 1 | post-match

Weird game, we scored when the team was looking bad and allowed a doubtful penalty in the end.

I think we need a target striker who can help physically. Depor was in trouble to making chances against Albacete's low defense line.

with this tactic and midfielders will be very hard to create goal chances.....our midfielders just pass the ball sideways or backward.....dont know why we play with this defensive tactic? its very boring and its for mediocre team with low expectations.....

1- The two centre defenders looked ok. Caballo looked promising, while Simon looked a little rusty.
2- No penalty
3- Alex was our best player by far
4- Cartabia can create danger, but I think playing him as a #9 is not the right call. He should play as a #10
5- Quique is so boring as a striker. Valle should start next game

This is the least connected I have been at the start of a season. Don't know the players, manager or playing style.

That penalty call was so ridiculous I hope this doesn't set the tone for the segunda season.

I dunno if any changes to the line up should be made after just one match, except for red card Krohn

Cartabia will be out for more than a month. He has quality, but this is ridiculous. He havrn't played a whole match and he is already injured.

I so agree with this. I think that would be his best position by far... I think Pedro would be better utilized in the forward duro - he is no playmaker from what I saw.

I agree about Fede and Pedro but although this might seem like stating the obvious, I would like to see a striker play the position of striker instead of us constantly trying to bang square pegs into round holes.

Yeah I agree with that as well - we need strikers with goals in his DNA.

I agree. Pedro, Quique, Valle, Fede are all quick but small, they could benefit from a target man who can hold up play. I know we have Santos, but having another Toche/Xisco type player on the bench would do us no harm.

If we do not bring anyone in, perhaps Uxio (Fabril) could come in when needed.

As far as I know it's not possible due to his age. However others like Pedro Correira or Guillermo May can be utilized in that case.

About the game, we seemed like a mediocre team, not a promotion aspirant. A lot work needed if we want to come back to the elite. But I'm not sure we have the right coach for that.
