Eleven players haven’t trained with the team during this week. Fernando Vázquez is having problems to prepare the next two games.

Deportivo are ending 2020 with more injury problems. The team had a little crisis with the side defenders for the last games of the year, also the problem of Keko Gontán, who missed the last month of competition.

And when the team returned from the Christmas break the situation turned to be worse. Up to seven players were unable to complete the first session after the vacation: Miku, Keko, Derik Osede, Eneko Bóveda, Borja Granero, Héctor Hernández and Claudio Beauvue.

The situation became more complicated during the week, because there are other four players out. Borja Galán suffered a muscle problem one day after the first session and he is pending to undergo scans.

Also, Uche Agbo will be out until January 2 as he asked for permission in order to be with his family in Nigeria. And the COVID-19 is also adding to the crisis, because both Yago Gandoy and Adri Castro tested positive for COVID-19 and will join the trainings until next week.

Some of these eleven men could be available for the next two games, Wednesday’s Copa match with Alavés and next weekend’s liga game at Zamora, but coach Fernando Vázquez is surely having problems to prepare those meetings.
