Wednesday was a curious day at Abegondo, because Miguel Angel Lotina ordered a training match between Depor and Fabril's players. His intention was to follow the current condition of the first team and also to have a first impression about some youngsters from the B squad. Rub?Šn Castro and Valer??n were among the best players of the game.

This training game lasted 80 minutes and both squads were composed by a mix of Depor's first and second squads, even some youngsters from Juveniles A participated in the actions. The first squad was dressed in black and was conformed by Aouate, Barrag??n, Seoane, Sergio Benito, Juachi, Nacho Matador, Juan Dom?nguez, Borja, Herbert, Hugo Garc?a, Rub?Šn and Taborda. Later Lafita and Riki joined the team.

The second squad was dressed in yellow and it was conformed by Mun??a, Laure, Adri??n L??pez 'Piscu', Chapi, Wilhelmsson, Valer??n, Roberto Casado, Rochela, Pita, Adri??n and Aridane. Lassad joined the team later. The training match ended with a 6-4 score for the yellow squad, Rub?Šn Castro was the higher scorer with four goals, while Valer??n shined with two goals and one assistance. Lassad also scored once.

Lotina arranged this strange game in order to follow the progression of players like Wilhelmsson and Lassad, precisely the Basque  gave his opinion about the skills of the French striker "He knows how to find the spaces, he makes good movements... but we have the two starting strikers in Spain's U-21 squad -Xisco and Adri??n- therefore its necessary to give time to time."

For the travel to Huelva, Lotina already has two confirmed casualties: Andr?Šs Guardado (stress fracture) and Cristian (knee). Filipe is the major doubt for this encounter due to a muscular problem, he won't train during the week since the doctors want to protect him in order to avoid further problems. The squad will rest this day, and it will have two morning sessions during Friday and Saturday. The journey to Huelva has been programmed to Saturday's evening.
