Another final for a Deportivo that remains winless in 2021. The only casualty for the game is goalkeeper Lucho García.

The situation is still complicated for Deportivo after failing to win the last game against Unionistas, the team not only remains winless, but also scoreless in 2021. There was even a meeting between the directors of ABANCA and the board of directors on Wednesday. A new final is coming this Sunday as Deportivo visit Coruxo FC (O Vao, 12h00 CET).

The good news for coach Rubén De La Barrera is that, for the first time in 2021, all the outfield players are available. Left-back Héctor Hernández already surpassed a muscle injury and joined the work during the week, while centre-back Mujaid Sadick is returning from a suspension.

Goalkeeper Lucho García is the only player that will miss the game, he broke his nose during a collision in a training session and won’t be available, so the coach will pick a keeper from Fabril in order to fill the spot on the bench.

Meanwhile, recently promoted players Diego Villares and Rayco Rodríguez joined the team on a permanent basis since Wednesday and will be available. Despite Depor were unable to win the last game, it’s expected that the coach will repeat the lineup of the last game, wit the only novelty that Mujaid should return to the centre of the defence.

At Coruxo FC, the team is still in crisis as it remains in relegation after losing four of the last five games.  At least there is some improvement as the team coached by Míchel Alonso is starting to score goals. As the case of Depor, they don’t have casualties for the game. One of their best players, Mateo Míguez, will be available after been suspended for the game at SD Compostela (2-3 loss).

Coruxo FC were active during the winter window, they signed four reinforcements. Starting with striker Mohamed Chabboura, the Moroccan attacker scored after debuting against SD Compostela. Right-back Riki Mangana was the first winter signing and he already made two appearances with the team. Then the club made two signings on deadline day: striker Aarón Piñán and winger Esteban López, both have barely played at Segunda B and will be available for Sunday.
