De La Barrera is still experimenting with the formation as his team lacks goal. The rival is also in need after losing four of the last five games.

Kick-off: 12h00 CET (O Vao)

Deportivo and Coruxo FC are among the three worst scorers in group 1. Deportivo had a decent start, but after spending four straight games without scoring goal, they are now the worst scorer in group 1 together with CD Lealtad (7).

Meanwhile, Coruxo FC have only netted eight goals during the season. And their case is the opposite than Depor, because their drought occurred at the start of the season after been unable to score a goal within their first five games. Three of their eight goals were scored within the last two matches, tough the two scored against SD Compostela were useless to add points.

This is the first opportunity in which Deportivo visit O Vao playing in an official competition. The only meeting between these two clubs in an official tournament was the 1-0 win for Depor from the first round. Who doesn’t have good memories of A Vao is coach De La Barrera, he lost 0-5 there in 2015 when he was coaching CD Guijuelo.

The emergency continues at Deportivo, the team needs goals and victories. Coach Rubén De La Barrera said that he was content with the performance against Unionistas, but the lack of goal is pushing him to make a new twist, this time he has prepared a 4-3-3 formation with Rai as the centre forward and with Diego Villares making his debut at midfield.

Team news: Goalkeeper Lucho García is the only player at the injury room. Fabril’s Pablo Brea replaces him. Adri Castro is the other member of the B squad picked for the game. Rayco Rodríguez and Diego Villares make their debut after been promoted in midweek. Héctor Hernández and Mujaid Sadick return, while Iago Gandoy, Claudio Beauvue and Nacho González weren’t called for the game.

Man to watch: Diego Villares. He was promoted in midweek and is now ready to debut with the first team. The 24-year-old multifunctional midfielder is expected to cover the right side in midfield and is one of the hopes to unclog the game of Deportivo. He scored twice and provided two assists with Fabril during this season (12 appearances at Tercera División).

Picked players: (20) Carlos Abad, Pablo Brea (goalkeepers); Eneko Bóveda, Jorge Valín, Borja Granero, Derik Osede, Mujaid Sadick, Salva Ruiz, Héctor Hernández (defenders); Álex Bergantiños, Celso Borges, Uche Agbo, Diego Villares, Keko Gontán, Borja Galán, José Lara (midfielders); Miku, Raí Nascimento, Rayco Rodríguez & Adri Castro (attackers).

Predicted lineup: (4-3-3) Carlos Abad – Valín, Mujaid, Borja Granero, Héctor Hernández –Villares, Borges, Uche Agbo - Keko, Raí, Lara.
Coruxo FC are running of time, the dream is to stay in the third tier of Spanish football, but it will be difficult. Actually, they are currently in the relegation zone, which means they could go down two steps and end in the fifth tier. The hope is that the winter signings could revitalize the attacking zone. After three straight games without goals, they have now scored three times in the last two meetings, though it wasn’t enough to add a point in their last game at SD Compostela (3-2).

Team news: Defender Ricky Mangana is out with muscle issues. Coach Michel Alonso is able to use the new signings, the expectation is to see if striker Aaron Piñán and right winger Mohamed Chabboura can reach the starting eleven. The coach could keep using the 4-1-4-1 formation used in recent weeks.

Man to watch: Striker Diego Silva. An injury left him out of the first games on the season, he missed the game at the Riazor and is gaining shape, something demonstrated by the fact that he scored in the last two games of the team.

Picked players: (20) Alberto Domínguez, Alejandro Fernández (goalkeepers); Antón de Vicente, Andriu Hernández, Pablo Crespo, Pablo Salgueiro, Manu Rodríguez, Jonathan Vila, Aitor Aspas (defenders) Jacobo Trigo, Chevi Carmona, Mateo Míguez, Martín Fuentes, Álex Ares, Borja Yebra (midfielders); Diego Silva, Moha Chabboura, Pedro Vázquez, Aaron Piñán & José Rivera (attackers).

Predicted lineup: (4-1-4-1) Alberto - Antón de Vicente, Andriu, Crespo, Aitor Aspas - Borja Yebra - Moha, Trigo, Chevi, Rivera - Silva.
