Miku will miss the game at A Malata, Keko Gontán might start and could be the only novelty at the lineup. The rival is now coached by ex-Depor Cristóbal Parralo.

The victory over CD Guijuelo brought some calm to A Coruña, but Deportivo remain in a delicate situation. The next game is the visit to Racing Ferrol (A Malata, Saturday, 19h00 CET), a victory there will put Los Blanquiazules back into the fight for the promotion places, but a defeat will pull the team into the drama of relegation.

Last week coach Rubén De La Barrera was celebrating that he had no injury concerns at the squad, though it didn’t last too long as Miku got injured in the warming up of the game with CD Guijuelo. The scans determined that he suffered an adductor muscle injury and will miss Saturday’s game.

Meanwhile, Keko Gontán wasn’t a starter against CD Guijuelo as he wasn’t totally fit to play, but on this week he has completed the last three sessions without problems and could be a starter. The Madrilenian winger could be the only modification at the formation claiming the spot of Lara, tough the coach has to decide who will play in attack.

The replacement for Miku for last weekend was Rayco Rodríguez, who left a positive impression, though he wasted a couple of clear chances to score. That’s why the coach might choose Adri Castro as the starter in attack. Castro played with Fabril on last weekend.

It's also expected that keeper Lucho García will remain at the goal. He has been wearing a mask during the training sessions after suffering a nose fracture, but during the game with CD Guijuelo he was able to play without the protection.

At Racing de Ferrol, the team has only won one of the last six games in liga, ex-Depor Cristóbal Parralo replaced Emilio Larraz on the bench and his debut was a 1-1 draw visiting SD Compostela. They are currently in the relegation zone and urgently need the victory.

Parralo will have all his squad available for Saturday’s game. Brazilian striker Nathan Palafoz is finally back after a delay from his wedding in Brazil. More important is the presence of ex-Celta attacker David Rodríguez, who was positive to COVID-19, reason why he was on the bench for the game against SD Compostela, now he could be a starter against Depor.
