Lotina will not be able to prepare the game properly until the end of the week, that's because the Basque trainer is missing six players due to international duty. Meanwhile, Murcia is arriving to the Riazor refreshed after its 4-0 win over Espanyol, while at the same time is recovering six players that missed the confrontation against the Catalans.

The match against Real Murcia (Sunday 19h00) should be considered as a match of six points, a win will be a boost for Deportivo while it will almost condemn Murcia to relegation. The problem for Lotina is that he's missing six players due to international duty, four of those six men were starters against Mallorca: Xisco, Aouate, De Guzman, Coloccini, Guardado and Wilhelmsson. Meanwhile, Riki is suspended for the game at the Riazor.

Xisco was concentrated with Spain's U-21 squad for a match against Kazakhstan, encounter that's part of the UEFA European U-21 Championship. At the end Xisco didn't play in the game. Meanwhile Coloccini will play today with Argentina at El Cairo against Egypt, De Guzmn will do the same with Canada at Tallin in a match against Estonia, Wilhelmsson plays at London with Sweden against Brazil, Guardado plays in the same city with Mexico against Ghana, and Aouate plays at Tel-Aviv with Israel against Chile.

All of this is forcing Lotina to test the strategy and the line-up for the match against Murcia until Friday, day in which all the international players will return to train with the rest of the group. Lotina scheduled a double session fro that day, including a training behind closed doors at the Riazor. The novelties for Sunday's game are De Guzmn who is returning after suspension and Riki who will miss the clash after he was sent off in the match against Mallorca.

After Tuesday's training, Lotina talked at Abegondo's press room, the Basque said that Depor's current situation in la liga is what he was expecting to be "We didn't have surprises on the past matchday, I was counting with a win of Osasuna over Betis, but the rest were the expected results. " Asked once again about Valern's condition, his response was: "When we were winning, nobody remembered Valern. But when you lose, people starts to talk about who missed the game."

Coach Javier Clemente is recovering six players for the match against Deportivo. Antonio Notario, Stephane Pignol (both muscular problems) and Curro Torres (knee) have surpassed their injuries, while Csar Arzo, David de Coz and Pablo Garca are returning after suspension. The only confirmed casualty for the game is ex-Depor winger Francisco Gallardo who is discarded due to a stress fracture.

A thing to emphasise is that Clemente is trying to play with a 5-4-1 system, exactly the same figure that Lotina has used lately at Depor. Clemente used this strategy during the 2-4 defeat at Recreativo and was forced to transform it into a 4-4-2 during the last game with Espanyol (4-0 win), this change was caused due to the casualties in the squad. Now the doubt is if he will return to the system with 5 defenders or if instead he will keep the same 4-4-2 that gave good results against the Catalans. This could mean that Riazor might witness a confrontation with ten defenders on the pitch, an unseen thing on this liga season.

Talking about the match, Javier Clemente assured that Murcia wont go to the Riazor thinking in defending the initial 0-0 At La Corua, and as it happens in any other game that still in dispute, we will try to achieve the victory. Because we still have chances to save ourselves and we must think in this way no matter who is the rival: Real Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia or Depor.
