Canaldeportivo.com announced on the past week that Depor has signed a new contract with two of its most promising youngsters: David Rochela and Hugo Garc?a. Rochela is a 19-year-old defender that already played a U-17 World Cup ieth Spain. He's considered as one of the main jewels at Depor's young categories. The Galician central defender is a normal participant in the line-ups of coach Devesa with Juvenil A (Deportivo C). Rochela also debuted with Fabril in Segunda B during the past weekend, although he was replaced after nine minutes due to a thigh injury.

The new contract with the defender is for five years (until the year 2013), he will remain as an amateur for the season 2008/2009 and will be probably promoted to Fabril, but the contract stipulates that for the 2009/2010 campaign, the club is forced to give a professional contract to the player, meaning he'll have the chance to be part of the first squad. Besides, there's a buyout clause of €30 million.

Other youngster that signed an extension of contract is Hugo Garc?a, a striker that has scored 22 goals on the season with Juvenil A, he also debuted on this campaign with Fabril during the game against San Isidro. Garc?a signed for three seasons and Depor has the option to extend it for three additional years, in this last case the contract will be professional.
