The squad already started to prepare the game at Pamplona. Lotina will repeat the same line-up used against Athletic Bilbao with the only novelty of Antonio Barrag??n who will replace the suspended Manuel Pablo. Lotina said on Tuesday that now he's trying to change the mentality of the players in order to clinch a European spot. Meanwhile at Osasuna, coach Ziganda only has one important casualty for the game.

With the salvation inside the pocket, Deportivo started to prepare the game against Osasuna (Sunday 17h00). Lotina will repeat the line-up that defeated Athletic Bilbao at the Riazor, the only modification is the appearance of Antonio Barrag??n who will take the place of Manuel Pablo at the right-back position, the Canarian is suspended after he picked his fifth yellow card of the season in the match against the Basques.

Coach Miguel Angel Lotina is conscious that now the squad needs new targets for the rest of the season, that's why he has maintained conversations with the players in order to keep the motivation, as he said on Tuesday at Abegondo "We are searching for a way to motivate the players. It's very easy to say that we must still in the same way, but that speech isn't touching the players. In order to do it, you have to search for an alternative, some new message, and we are trying to emphasise this matter. I have spoken with the players and I told them that now, we are starting a phase that’s complicated, but also exciting."

Despite he previously said that the European options of Deportivo are complicated, Depor's coach assured that they will fight for it "We still have to play six more games against rivals that are playing for something. It's a tough calendar, but it's attractive. We need to be focus, because if we continue in the same way, we could open the European doors. It's difficult, but we have the hope and the way to Europe is the Intertoto."

Lotina had also some words about the attitude of Christian Wilhelmsson, the Swedish winger left Riazor upset with himself after Sunday’s game, this due to his performance during the game "If he was unhappy, it was because the game wasn't fine for him, it's a good signal. Conformism is never a good thing. It's nice to see the players upset from time to time, but with themselves. The important thing is to speak on the pitch."

Meanwhile, Osasuna's coach, 'Cuco' Ziganda, only has one important casualty for the game against Depor: Nacho Monreal who picked his fifth yellow card of the season in the game against Espanyol. His place at the left-back position will be taken by Quique Corrales. The long-term injury cases at the squad are Ludovic Delporte (hamstring strain) and Xavier Margairaz (knee). Both out for the rest of the season, Swiss Margairaz will even miss the EURO 2008 for this reason.
