Deportivo's veterans won on Friday the first copa del rey in the indoor category, they did it after defeating Real Madrid in the final (12-9). In this way, Depor's veterans have achieved a double title: la liga and the copa. The hero in the final was Enrique Romero. Jacques Songo's and Djalminha also had a great performance.

As it was expected, the veterans clinched the copa del rey in the indoor league, their second title of the season since they won the league one month ago. Indoor football is a category that was started on this season is Spain, it's disputed between the seven clubs that already won la liga in Primera Divisi�n. The games are played between  squads conformed by five men in a pitch with a special dimension. The players must be ex-members of the first squads in each club.

The first four places in la liga had the privilege to play the copa del rey, this season this honour was for  Deportivo, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia. The Galicians eliminated Valencia in the first semi-final (12-10), while Real Madrid did the same with Barcelona.

The final was played on Friday at Palacio De Los Deportes in Riazor. The game was very disputed and the hero was Enrique Romero who scored four goals in the 12-9 win of Deportivo. Djalminha also showed his class while Songo's was a vital piece with his saves and even scoring a goal.
