PLANNING THE PRE-SEASON

Deportivo has arranged the first two friendly games for the pre-season, both encounters will take place in Denmark. Later, Lotina's team will travel to Venezuela in order to play a couple of games. Meanwhile, the big part of the squad will return to train at Abegondo on Tuesday. The international players return on July 15 and the loaned player five days later.

The club is already fulfilling the dates for the pre-season. On Thursday, Canaldeportivo.com informed the club has already arranged the first two friendly games for the pre-season. Contrary to past occasions in which the first preparation games were played in Galicia, this time these encounters will take place in another country: Denmark.

More specifically, the first game will be played on Thursday 10th July against a second division team from Denmark, the name of this club and the place still to be defined. The second match will be against Brondby IF on Saturday 12th July (17h00). The club also informed that Lotina's squad will travel to Denmark on Thursday 10th July and will return to La Coru�a after the game with Brondby, the team will also train on Friday 11st July at Brondby's sporting city.

After these two friendly matches, Depor has to face the Intertoto series against a rival still to be defined.  The dates of both legs are July 19/20 (first-leg) and July 26/27 (second-leg). Depor Sport already announced that after these two matches, Lotina's team will travel to America in order to play a couple of friendlies, more precisely a tour in Venezuela.

The only thing defined until the moment are the dates: August 3 and 7. The rivals and the cities in which Depor will play still to be defined. But according to Depor Sport, the two rivals to face will come from the first three places in the Venezuelan league: Caracas FC, Deportivo T�chira and Anzo�tegui. this means the cities in which Depor could play are Caracas, San Cristobal and Puerto De La Cruz.

The club's intention is to take advantage of the huge presence of Galicians emigrants in the South American country. It hasn't been discarded the possibility the team might play an additional game in Mexico, but this possibility still to be negotiated. Later Lotina's squad will return to Spain in order to play the Teresa Herrera tournament (August 18-20).

THE SQUAD RETURNS TO TRAIN ON THE NEXT WEEK
Canaldeportivo.com announced the squad will start the pre-season 2008/2009 on Tuesday. The major part of the team has been called to attend to Riazor on July 1st (20h00) and they will start to train one day later. The international player will return until July 15, this due to their participation with their respective teams during the last days. The exception is Coloccini who will have five more days of vacation. Finally, the players that performed on loan (with the exception of Pablo �lvarez) will join the team until July 20.

The calendar for the squad is:
Players that will join the team on July 1st: Aouate, Mun�a, Filipe, Lopo, Pablo Amo, Manuel Pablo, Barrag�n (injured), Sergio, Antonio Tom�s, Juan Rodriguez, Lafita, Cristian, Pablo �lvarez,Verd�, Valer�n, Taborda, Omar Bravo, Riki, Ruben Castro, Xisco, Adri�n L�pez 'Piscu', Laure, Alex Berganti�os, David Rochela and Juanan.
Players that will join the team on July 15th: Guardado, Bodipo and De Guzm�n.
Players that will join the team on July 20th: Coloccini, Rodri, Momo, Aythami, Jairo and Adri�n.
