PLAYING IN DENMARK

Today, Deportivo plays its first friendly game of the pre-season. It’s a confrontation in Denmark against Fremad Amager. Later Lotina’s squad will play on Saturday against Brondby IF. On Friday the team will train at Brondby’s sporting city. Meanwhile the dates and rivals for the tour in Venezuela were released.

Coach Miguel Angel Lotina selected twenty one players for the trip to Denmark. The tour to be made in the Scandinavian country consists in two games and three training sessions. The first rival is Fremad Amager and the game will be played today at Sundby Idr?tspark (18h30). On Friday the Galician squad will train twice at Brondby’s sporting city and on Saturday the second friendly game will be played. The match will be against Brondby IF at Brondby stadium (16h00)

The list of players called for the trip is:
Goalkeepers: Fabricio and Manu
Defenders: Manuel Pablo, Filipe, Pablo Amo, Laure, Rochela, Adri??n L??pez ?Piscu’ and Juanan
Midfielders: Sergio, Verd??, Lafita, Cristian, Valer??n, Juan Rodr?guez, Alex and Pablo ?lvarez
Strikers: Riki, Xisco, Mista and Omar Bravo

Mun??a and Aouate aren’t part of the list after the polemic of the last hours, while players that don’t count as Rub?n Castro and Taborda weren’t included for the trip. Antonio Tom??s (muscular problem), Albert Lopo (hernia) and Z? Castro (ankle) are out for injury reasons.

Finally, the club released the dates for the two friendlies to be played in Venezuela at the beginning of August. On August 3 Depor will meet Club Sport Mar?timo (Portugal) at the Olympic stadium in Caracas. Three days later the Galicians will play against Deportivo T??chira (Venezuela’s current champion) in San Cristobal (city near to Colombia’s border.)
