NO CLUES FOR EL SARDINERO

16 Oct 2008
Deportivo trained yesterday at Abegondo in a recuperation session that didn’t give too many clues about the lineup that Lotina will present at El Sardinero. Neither the previous sessions helped to clear out the doubts about the starting eleven that will face Racing Santander on Sunday (17h00).

Lotina worked with his players during Thursday at Abegondo, it was a recuperation session used only to warm up the muscles. The players also made a few exercises in the gym and relaxed through a massage session. Therefore Depor’s coach didn’t give any clue about the possible lineup that will face Racing Santander on Sunday.

Andr?©s Guardado and Omar Bravo didn’t took part of the session since both players were traveling from North America after playing with Mexico’s national team on Wednesday. Their arrival is expected for this day. The good news is that Julian De Guzm??n, Riki, Pablo Alvarez and Z?© Castro continued working without problems after surpassing their respective injuries.

It seems that Lotina will wait until the arrival of Guardado and Omar Bravo in order to decide the starting line-up for the game. Neither Lotina gave any clue in the previous training sessions of the squad. On Wednesday the team worked with strategic plays and the coach also emphasised the necessity of fulfilling all the passes, the novelty in this training was the presence of Fabril’s  keeper Alberto, this since Aouate was in international duty.

Also in this session, Lotina divided the players in four groups of six players: Alberto, Colotto, Filipe, Sergio, Lafita and Taborda; Aranzubia, Barrag??n, Lopo, Juan Rodr?guez, Mista and Cristian; Manuel Pablo, Valer??n, Fabricio, Piscu, Antonio Tom??s and Rodolfo Bodipo; Mun??a, Laure, De Guzman, Verd??, Pablo ?lvarez and Riki. In this last group Pablo ?lvarez and Riki alternated their presence with Ze Castro. These four groups faced each other in two games that were played at the same time at each side of the pitch.
