Coach Miguel ?ngel Lotina still hasn't given any clue about the squad that he will present at El Sardinero. Depor’s squad worked at Abegondo on Friday without the presence of Guardado and Omar Bravo, players that will not join the group until Saturday. Therefore their participation in the game in not expected.

Two days before the visit to Santander and Lotina hasn’t given any clue about the squad that he’s preparing for the visit to Racing Santander. The squad trained on Friday and the coach didn’t test any special formation for the game. He just insisted with the work that the defenders should fulfill on the pitch.  What seems now possible is that neither Andr?s Guardado nor Omar Bravo will take part in the game, this is because they did not arrive until Friday night so they will only train once with the rest of the players (they trained with physical trainer Eduardo Dom?nguez during Friday’s afternoon).

Another thing that seems clear is that Lotina will continue basing his line-ups in three key players: Daniel Aranzubia, Filipe Luis and Albert Lopo, these three men have been the only ones appearing in all the starting lineups during the past six liga matchdays. Riki is another player appointed to be a starter, because he’s suspended for Thursday’s game with CSKA Moscow.

After the training session ended, midfielder Juan Rodr?guez attended the press room and said that the important thing now is to achieve a positive result in Santander ?If we think of the UEFA Cup, it would be a mistake. Right now the most important thing is Sunday’s confrontation.?

The Andalucian also talked about the fact that Depor is facing three competitions this season, something that has been frequently asked to the players ?We can’t be too confident, because la liga is really tight and as soon as you are up, then you can go down. We just need to be focused during the ninety minutes. We are facing three competitions, we can shout about it but it also means that any distraction would be expensive for us.?
