If the copa confrontation with Valencia wasn't enough excitement for some fans, the next matches of Depor should fulfil their expectations. The Galicians will try to return into European positions in la liga and at the same time they will search the qualification to the final in copa del rey.

The first match will have a taste of deja vu for the Galicians, Valencia visits the Riazor with the revenge as objective, Quique Flores' team is living a sweet moment in la liga and they will try to continue in the second position of the table. The game is also a revenge for Deportivo since the last liga visit of Valencia ended in a disastrous 1-5 defeat.

The absence for suspension is Julian De Guzm??n, the Canadian midfielder saw his fifth yellow card of the season while Taborda, Valer??n, Iv??n Carril and Andrade are out for injury reasons. Andrade is discarded for his thigh problems and Caparr??s will have to use the duo Coloccini-Juanma once again. Fabril's youngster Alex Berganti?±os could occupy the place of De Guzm??n in the list of called players since he trained yesterday with the first squad. In Valencia Baraja and Marchena are suspended and they will miss the trip to Riazor.

Another novelty could be the presence of Francisco Gallardo, the ex-Sevilla player starter to train with the squad on Thursday, curiously he hasn't been presented in a official act, a similar situation that occurred with De Guzm??n. In any case Caparr??s has already a new option in order to cover the right wing.

The semi-finals in copa starts on the next Thursday, Depor will have to travel to Montjuic in order to face RCD Espanyol. A confrontation that will see the presence of Walter Pandiani as the most dangerous rival for the Galicians. The second leg-game isn't programmed yet since the controversy with Valencia has delayed the competition one week, the match can't be played on Wednesday 15th since the Catalans have to face Schalke 04 for the UEFA cup. The authorities must find a date for the game and for the moment it's uncertain.

La liga will continue in the following weekend with a tough travel: Betis at the Luis de Lopera stadium. It's true that the Sevillan squad is living a complicate moment near to the relegation zone (they are only 4 points away from that zone), but the incorporations of Tardelli and Robert plus the good moment of Alberto Rivera are things to notice. Caparr??s will surely live his particular derbi with intensity and he will try to continue with the good away run of his squad.

The following Riazor's visitor is one to respect: Real Zaragoza. They are at mid-table right now, but the good moment of los ma?±os is demonstrated with their last 2-2 draw at the Mestalla and the elimination of Barcelona in copa del rey. Knowing the difficulties of Depor at the Riazor it seems that this will be a difficult match although Zaragoza has only won two away matches on this season.

The last match of the month will be a new exam: Osasuna at the Reyno de Navarra (previously El Sadar). The team coached by Javier Aguirre had the perfect mark of nine victories in nine home matches, but lately they are losing some stamina since the squad only achieved one of the last six home points. However, it should be noticed that Osasuna had to play without key men like Milosevic, Delporte, Moha or Web??. Players that will probably be available for the Depor’s match.

If February's calendar isn't enough problem, March will start with a tough test: the visit to Camp Nou in order to face Barcelona. The Catalans have only lost one game in the current liga season and at home they only suffered two draws: 2-2 against Valencia on matchday 4 and the same score in matchday 6 against Zaragoza.

The following is the list of Depor's matches on February:
05/Feb/2006 Deportivo - Valencia (liga)
09/Feb/2006 Espanyol - Deportivo (copa)
12/Feb/2006 Betis - Deportivo (liga)
19/Feb/2006 Deportivo - Zaragoza (liga)
26/Feb/2006 Osasuna - Deportivo (liga)
05/Mar/2006 Barcelona - Deportivo (liga)
