Lotina will repeat the 4-3-2-1 scheme used in recent matches, but the Basque coach could end making three changes compared to the starting eleven that drew in Majorca. Meanwhile Osasuna will arrive without Pandiani who is suspended, while other players are doubtful due to other reasons.

For the match against Osasuna (Saturday 20h00 CET), it is already know that coach Miguel Angel Lotina will repeat the 4-3-2-1 system that he has been using in the second round of la liga, but the Basque could be forced to make up to three changes in his lineup, starting with Antonio Tom??s who is suspended after picking a fifth yellow card during the last weekend, his place in midfielder is disputed between Juan Rodr?guez and Sergio.

The other two modifications would be caused by injury reasons, Manuel Pablo has been struggling since the past week with a knee injury, the doctors have said he should be fit for Saturday, but so far he hasn’t trained normally with the rest of his team mates. Riki, meanwhile, is suffering a problem in the abductor region, he didn’t train on Tuesday and Wednesday for precautions reasons and it isn’t know if he will be fit to play on Saturday.

If these two men are not recovered for the game, Lotina will have to choose between Piscu and Laure for the right back position, while Lassad and Mista are battling’ for the striking position. Meaning it could be the first game as a starter at Primera Divisi??n for Fabril’s Lassad. To make things worse, Albert Lopo didn’t end Wednesday’s session due to a Lumbalgia. Doctor Ramon Barral, however, said the problem is not serious and that the Catalan should be fit for Saturday’s clash at the Riazor.

The coach is aware that the absence of some of his men, especially Manuel Pablo and Lopo, could be important, but on Tuesday he preferred to emphasise that what matters is the collective work ; as he said to reporters: The important thing is to have the team that we want, to see them pressing, playing well and having pace. That’s the Depor that I want.

Lotina also talked about the Champions League aspirations of Depor, â€?I love the Champions League music, I love it more than the one of (Joaqu?n) Sabina, but it’s too expensive.â€? He joked about the effort that his team must do in order to end between the top four places in liga. The coach admitted that he will probably sign the extension of his contract during the next week, while he said that he’s content at the club, â€?For me it is an honour to train Depor. I love the changing room, it unites work and quality. But we will leave the words for those who have to speak.â€?

At Osasuna, the news are marked by the absence of Walter Pandiani for Saturday’s game, the Uruguayan is suspended after picking the fifth yellow card of the season during last Sunday’s win over Valencia (1-0). He, alongside Nekounam, are the Pichichis at the squad with five goals scored on the season.

Besides, Osasuna is facing big problems in defence, Rov?©rsio Rodrigues suffered a serious knee injury during November and now his replacement, ex-Celta Sergio Fern??ndez, is doubtful with a thigh injury. Miguel Fla?±o is also doubtful due to a wound on the right leg, while Jos?© Romero Urtas??n â€?Josetxoâ€? is already discarded due to a stress fracture. Meanwhile Striker Kike Sola, who suffered a knee injury in the clash against Sevilla, has started to train and could be picked for the visit to the Riazor.

Finally, Javad Nekounam, Masoud Shojaei (both with Iran), Jaroslav Plasil (Czech Republic) and Krisztian Vad??cz (Hungary) were on international duty and will join the squad until Friday, reason why they could be left out of the starting lineup. Defender C?©sar Azpilicueta and midfielder Sunday Stephen â€?Sunny’ played on Tuesday with Spain’s U-21 squad, and they will join the trainings on Thursday.
