BODIPO IS THE MOST EFFECTIVE PLAYER

15 Apr 2009
Rodolfo Bodipo returned on Sunday after an absence of two months, and he still in close touch with the goal since he scored once against Atletico. The Guinean attacker is not the top-scorer at the squad; but he is the most effective player of Depor.

After a period of almost two months out due to a muscular problem, striker Rodolfo Bodipo returned to the pitch, and the ex-Alav?©s men did it showing up that he hasn’t lost the smell of the goal, though his lonely conquer wasn’t useful to add points against Atletico Madrid. More in concrete, Bodipo has been out since he fell injured against Aalborg on February 26.

With his goal against Atletico, the Guinean took his tally of goals to four in the liga season (Recreativo, Getafe, Sevilla and the Madrilenians). Bodipo isn’t the Pichichi at the squad, but he is the most effective player at Deportivo since his average is now of one goal every 146.5 minutes. That means one goal every one and a half games.

Riki, other of the strikers at the squad, is second in this list with an average of one goal every 185.4 minutes. The Madrilenian has scored five goals in liga so far. Angel Lafita, the current top-scorer at Depor with eight goals on the liga season, is third in this particular list with an average of one goal every 270 minutes.

The rest of players need more than three games to score a goal, that’s the case of the other three forwards that have performed with the squad on the present liga season: Omar Bravo (1 goal every 294 minutes), Mista (1 goal every 545 minutes) and Lassad (1 goal every 570 minutes).
