CHANGES?

29 Apr 2009
Lotina hasn’t decided yet if he will allow the return of Albert Lopo and Joan Verd?? for Sunday’s game or if instead, Lassad and Colotto will stay at the starting eleven. Who seems discarded for the game is Adri??n L??pez ?Piscu’.

Deportivo is now regaining a major part of the injured players, on the last week it was Manuel Pablo and for the present one is Albert Lopo. The Catalan defender was out due to a Soleus problem and it was even feared he won’t play anymore on the season, but since the past week he started to train and now he’s fit to play.

But the good results with the duo Z? Castro-Colotto (only one goal allowed in three games) is making Lotina think about completing any change ahead of the match against Real Valladolid. Same is the case in attack; against Malaga the coach opted to play with a system with two strikers, though Lassad performed more as a playmaker.

But with Joan Verd?? already recovered from a toe injured, the question is if Lotina will give a new chance to the Catalan player and also who could be his partner in the striking zone. For the moment, Lotina still has three training sessions in order to test the alternatives for the game (Thursday, Friday and Saturday).

Meanwhile, two of the three options for the striking zone, Rodolfo Bodipo and Lassad, are suffering physical problems that aren’t allowing to train with normality. The Guinean is suffering a lumbalgia problem since the past week, while the Tunisian has a knee problem. Both men haven’t been training with the same intensity than their team mates, though it is expected they will be fit for Sunday’s clash.  Who seems already discarded for the game is Piscu, the defender hasn’t trained since the past week due to an ankle sprain. Mista (pubalgy) and Antonio Tom??s (hamstring) are also out of the match.

At Valladolid, Pedro Le??n (pubis), Garc?a Calvo (toe) and Vivar Dorado (Achilles) are already discarded for the clash at the Riazor, while Marcos (quadriceps contusion) remains doubtful. At least ?lvaro Rubio (hamstring), Jonathan Sesma (adductor), Borja (back), and ?scar S??nchez (muscular edema) are near to return and it’s expected the four of them will join the trainings on today’s session.
