Once again striker Lassad will pass a late test in order to determine if he’s fit to play a game, just like it happened two weeks ago before the game against Recreativo. Meanwhile, Verd?? says that Depor still is his first option.

Coach Miguel Angel Lotina will decide the lineup to be used against triple champion Barcelona FC after today’s training. This since on Thursday he didn’t test any specific lineup ahead of the game. Striker Lassad Nouioui worked in the soft session without major problems, and his final participation or not in the game will be decided today.

That decision will also mark the system to be used against the Catalans, because Lotina could switch back to a 4-4-2 figure, just like he did against Malaga (matchday 33) and Real Valladolid (matchday 34). Lassad has missed the last three matches due to a muscular contracture and this is the second time in which he faces a late test ahead of a game, he didn’t past the previous one (Recreativo) and for the following two games, he was sidelined earlier in the week previous to the confrontations.

Depor’s squad will train on Friday at Abegondo (10h30 CET); it’s the last training session before the game with Barcelona and the last one of the season 2008/2009. Lotina will test the definitive lineup during that training. Later he will release the last list of called players of the campaign.

Meanwhile, Joan Verd?? attended to the press room and wanted to assure that no matter he hasn’t signed his renewal, he neither has signed for any other club, "On the basis that since January I can sign for any team, and taking in mind the fact I haven’t done it so far, I can still say that Deportivo is my first option. It should mean something. They said two days ago that I already signed for other club and that’s a lie. We must not pay too much attention to what they say."

The Catalan also assured that he hopes to take a final decision on the next week, ?Since January until now, I am waiting for Deportivo. Two months ago (the renewal) was almost done, but we didn’t reach the point that we were thinking and we’re now at a point where we’re evaluating the offer made by the club, and next week we’ll take the decision for better or for worse. I would like to know where I will be next year, because I’ve a family behind, but I can understand the negotiations are a bit longer, because there were seven renewals in process and even the coach wasn’t sure of his destiny." .

He was also hoping to meet on Saturday a Barcelona with the mind in other place, ?The treble has been earned due to its game, by the quality of the players, for the scoring occasions and the entertainment. Now they are going to spend all day, today and tomorrow, within celebrations. I hope it will affect them adversely.?

At Barcelona, everything was happiness after achieving the third European championship for the Catalans. The players were received in Barcelona like heroes and the part will last until Friday. About the game against Depor, the only thing know is that Marc Muniesa and Gerard Piqu? will miss the game, the first was sent off and the second accumulated five yellow cards during the home defeat with Osasuna. The competition committee .in la liga denied the appeal presented by the Catalan club on Thursday.
