The case of Angel Lafita gave a new twist on Wednesday as the player traveled to Zaragoza although la liga hasn’t gave a resolution about who owns his rights. Zaragoza hopes the player will be able to train with them in the coming days.

Angel Lafita is already in Zaragoza, the winger traveled by train to Aragon during the afternoon and it was expected to see him in the training camp of Zaragoza, but in the end he didn’t show up. However, this new development is interpreted as Lafita is now accepting to be part of Marcelino’s team no matter that la liga has not make any resolution about his case.

According to some information coming from Aragon, Lafita was upset with the way in which he was treated by Zaragoza, but as compensation, the authorities of the club decided to negotiate a new three-year contract with him, a deal that was including a raise in his salary (now 500,000 Euros), something that calmed the anger of the player.

For the moment Deportivo still arguing that Lafita belongs to the Galician club, la liga has communicated that both sides involved in the conflict have until next Tuesday to bring their allegations, and a resolution is not expected until the end of September, meaning that the player will surely miss the action on matchday 02 and even on matchday 03 of la liga.

Late on Wednesday, canaldeportivo.com published an article in which the Galician club was ordering Lafita to rejoin the training session within the next 24 hours. Depor was even menacing to take legal actions if the player doesn’t return to La Coruña.
